STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX-X6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Flood fill with WHITE CLOSE Raster 1 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with RED #f00505 IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 5 Colour = WHITE Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 5 Click OK .

STEP 6 Open up the 4th_July_free_vector image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> MIRROR EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = - ( minus ) 5 Colour = WHITE Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 50 Edge Mode = Transparent.
STEP 7 Open up the July4Sign image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - ( minus ) 155 Vertical Offset = - ( minus ) 80 Edge Mode = Transparent. STEP 8 Open up the 4th_July.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. VIEW >>> RULERS Select your RASTER DEFORM tool Mode = SCALE use default settings PSPX-X7:Select your PICK tool Drag the lower centre node up to the 400 pixel mark on your left ruler
STEP 9 Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow Select the MOVER tool to disengage the DEFORMATION tool (PICK tool) EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = 70 Edge Mode = Transparent. EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW. change DIRECTION to 315
STEP 10 Open up the Land_of_The_Free_Sm_LDM image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 60% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW. Same settings Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 11 Open up the July 4th Subway Art image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 12 Select your RASTER DEFORM tool Mode = SCALE use default settings PSPX-X7:Select your PICK tool Using the ROTATE ARM tilt UP slightly
STEP 13 Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow Select the MOVER tool to disengage the DEFORMATION tool (PICK tool) ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST Brightness = - (minus) 10 Contrast = 25 PSPX6/X7: Linear Mode checked
STEP 14 Open up the 4th banners image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Rectangle Mode = Replace Feather = 0 Antialias = UNChecked Select the RED STAR
STEP 15 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 30% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 16 Back to the 4th banners image in your PSP workspace With your SELECTION TOOL... same settings Select the WHITE STAR Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 30% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 17 Back to the 4th banners image in your PSP workspace With your SELECTION TOOL... same settings Select the BLUE STAR Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 30% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings Reposition with your MOVER tool
