STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX-X6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Flood fill with BLUE #114ab3 .
STEP 2 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE CLOSE Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS COLOUR = #1c99e9
STEP 3 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 5 Colour = WHITE Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 5 Click OK. Select your PUSH BRUSH tool Use these settings PRESET = + Round 10
STEP 4 OPEN Raster 1 (So you can see what you are doing) ZOOM in so you have more control Position your cursor as shown on top image.. Drag left as shown on lower image NOTE: If you happen to have an unsteady hand and make a mistake... just place your cursor over an original section and drag across again.
STEP 5 Reposition your cursor as shown on top image Drag down as shown on lower image NOTE: If you happen to have an unsteady hand and make a mistake... just place your cursor over an original section and drag down again.
STEP 6 Still on Copy of Raster 1 Repeat the above instructions for the top right corner
STEP 7 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE EFFECTS>>> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS >>> Perspective - Horizontal EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> WAVE ,
STEP 8 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 5 Colour = WHITE Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 5 Click OK.
STEP 9 EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 20 Vertical Offset = 0 Edge Mode = Transparent LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> MIRROR Open up the lines mask image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to DIFFERENCE
STEP 10 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE SAVE YOUR WORK Open up the blue lines image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS>>> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS >>> CIRCLE Edge Mode = Transparent EDIT >>> Repeat Circle Minimize the blue lines image
STEP 11 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> GRAPHICS PLUS >>> SPOT LITE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 195 Vertical Offset = 145 Transparent
STEP 12 NOTE: I missed a step... oops!! ACTIVATE Copy (3) of Raster 1 IMAGE >>> FLIP
STEP 13 ACTIVATE the top layer LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> MIRROR EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = 35 Transparent
STEP 14 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> FLIP EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 25 Vertical Offset = 35 Transparent
STEP 15 Maximize the blue lines image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS>>> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS >>> CIRCLE Edge Mode = Transparent EDIT >>> Repeat Circle (Twice) EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> POLAR COORDINATES Rectangular to polar Edge Mode = Transparent IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE
STEP 16 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 5 Colour = WHITE Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 5 Click OK. STEP 17 Open up the AP016.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
