STEP 1 Open a new image 600 x 600 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX-X6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel
STEP 2 Open up the heart-shapes image in your PSP workspace Activate the heart border layer Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 3 SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> FLOAT SELECTIONS >>> DEFLOAT Flood fill with RED #c10707 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK DESELECT
STEP 4 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
STEP 5 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X6: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X6: There is no " Sample Merged" Select the CENTRE transparent area SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 2 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with RED
STEP 6 EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS DESELECT LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
STEP 7 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with RED LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN Open up the heart-shapes image in your PSP workspace Activate the lge heart layer Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> FLOAT SELECTIONS >>> DEFLOAT SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR ACTIVATE Raster 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT
STEP 8 ACTIVATE Raster 5 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 35 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL DESELECT
STEP 9 With your MAGIC WAND Same settings Select the CENTRE transparent area SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL Same settings DESELECT
STEP 10 ACTIVATE Raster 3 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 11 Open up the heart-shapes image in your PSP workspace Activate the heart splash layer Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 12 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> MIRROR LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> FLOAT SELECTIONS >>> DEFLOAT Flood fill selections with RED EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL Same settings EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings DESELECT
STEP 13 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE Open up the Gel Heart image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 30% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 14 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> MIRROR LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 15 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 Save as .pspimage image
STEP 16 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with #f4e4e4 LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE TEXTURE = linenPOP ,,
STEP 17 Open up the morning-fog_by_Leticia-Reinaldo image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 70% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
STEP 18 ACTIVATE the Merged layer LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT tool and with a font of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten) .
STEP 19 IMAGE >>> ADD BORDERS = SYMMETRIC 1 COLOUR = BLACK Save as .jpg image
