STEP 1

Open up the Carlos Cadavid (18) image in your PSP workspace
WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE
Close the original Image
LAYERS >>> Promote background layer

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode =
ADD (Shift)
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 10
Feather =
2
Antialias =
Checked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9 - X7: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX
- X7: There is no " Sample Merged"
PSP9 - X7: ANTIALIAS = Outside

Select the black sections

EDIT >>> CLEAR
EDIT >>> Repeat Clear
DESELECT

In your MATERIALS PALETTE.. Load PURPLE #232354 in the foreground

STEP 2

Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the
CUSTOM SELECTION symbol
and enter these coordinates.
STEP 3

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Minimize your du
plicated image
STEP 4

Open a new image 700 x 600
Transparent background
PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit)
PSPX-X7: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel

Flood fill with
PURPLE #232354

CLOSE Raster 1

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.


EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET
Horizontal Offset = 0
Vertical Offset = - (Minus) 125
Edge Mode =
Transparent

STEP 5

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

IMAGE >>> FLIP

IMAGE >>> MIRROR

STEP 6

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

CLOSE Raster 2 and Copy of Raster 2

PSP9: IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED

PSPX - PSPX7:
IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED
STEP 7

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

IMAGE >>> FLIP

IMAGE >>> MIRROR
STEP 8

Maximize your duplicated image

EFFECTS >>> REFLECTION EFFECTS >>>
ROTATING MIRROR

Horizontal Offset = 0

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Once more
... Right Click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

(This is to centre the image)

DELETE Raster 1

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

IMAGE >>> FLIP
STEP 9B

Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the
CUSTOM SELECTION symbol
and enter these coordinates.
STEP 10

EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 11

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

ACTIVATE your frame image
OPEN ALL LAYERS

ACTIVATE Copy (3) of Raster 2

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
STEP 12

Open up the oval16.png
image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> FLOAT
SELECTIONS >>> DEFLOAT


EDIT >>> Clear

ACTIVATE Raster 3
EDIT >>> Clear

Continue in this manner on each layer ending on Raster 1

DESELECT

Save as .pspimage image


NOTE: If you are using a tube image you will have to add a background layer of your choice
before adding your tube.

I'm using some art work, so there is no need for a background.
STEP 23


Open up the 017-portraits-jenny-marie
image
in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options


IMAGE >>> RESIZE =
80%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 24

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Select your TEXT tool
and with a font of your choice add your name

STEP 25

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)

Save as .jpg image
