POLE TRANSFORM FRAME

Save to a folder on your computer

Save to your PSP Patterns folder

STEP 1

In your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load BLACK #000000 in your foreground
THEN
Load the gabriel-zilver pattern in your foreground
Angle = 45
Scale = 100
Load BLUE #C8DCFF in your background
STEP 2

Open a new image 700 x 500
Transparent background
PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit)
PSPX-X6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel

Flood fill with
BLACK

SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 1
EDIT >>> CLEAR


Flood fill with gabriel-zilver pattern

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT =
4
Flood fill with BLACK

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 1
EDIT >>> CLEAR

STEP 4

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT =
25
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
COLOUR = #acb5d0
STEP 5

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9 - X6: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX
- X6: There is no " Sample Merged"


Select the CENTRE transparent area

Flood fill with BLACK
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 1
EDIT >>> CLEAR

Flood fill with
BLACK

STEP 6

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Flood fill with
BLUE

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS
Same settings BUT this time check HORIZONTAL

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 25
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings

With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the CENTRE transparent area

Flood fill with
BLACK
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 1
EDIT >>> CLEAR

STEP 7

Flood fill with gabriel-zilver pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4

Flood fill with
BLACK
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 1
EDIT >>> CLEAR

DESELECT

In your LAYER PALETTE
Rearrange the layers as shown
STEP 8

With Raster 1 active

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>>
DROP SHADOW
STEP 9

ACTIVATE Raster 2

EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow..Same settings

EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135


ACTIVATE Raster 1

EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow..Same settings
STEP 10

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> MuRa's Meister >>>
Pole Transform

STEP 11

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.


DELETE Copy of Merged

With Raster 1 active

EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET

Horizontal Offset = 0
Vertical Offset = - (minus) 61
Edge Mode =
Transparent





STEP 12

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings
and while depressing your SHIFT KEY .

Select the transparent areas indicated
STEP 13

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 3

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

Flood fill with #B5BDD4

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS
Same settings

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS
BUT UNcheck HORIZONTAL
STEP 14

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings EXCEPT change AMBIENCE to (minus) -42


ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

DESELECT
STEP 15


ACTIVATE the Merged layer

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>>
DROP SHADOW
Same settings


EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to
315

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

Save as .pspimage image
   

You may now add your own accents if you wish and an image of your own choosing
or continue with my supplies

STEP 16

Open up the bubbles.png image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.


IMAGE >>> RESIZE =
80%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

In your LAYER PALETTE change the
BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L)

Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 17

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

IMAGE >>> MIRROR

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 18

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET
Horizontal Offset = 0
Vertical Offset = - (MINUS) 245
Edge Mode =
Transparent


LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE
VISIBLE
STEP 19

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Flood fill with
BLUE #c8dcff

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

STEP 20

Open up the MR_Hi Little Guy
image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.


IMAGE >>> RESIZE =
75%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 21

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Select your TEXT tool
and with a font of your choice add your name



LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)

Save as .jpg image
