STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX-X7: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel
STEP 2 Open up the swirl-elements62 image in your PSP workspace Choose your SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Rectangle Mode = Replace Feather = 0 Antialias = UNChecked Select the lower swirl Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
STEP 3 Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - (Minus) 50 Vertical Offset = 165 Edge Mode = Transparent
STEP 4 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE PSP9: IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = LEFT 90 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED PSPX - PSPX7: IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = LEFT 90 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED
STEP 5 EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - (Minus) 100 Vertical Offset = 0 Edge Mode = Transparent LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 0 Vertical Offset = 45 Edge Mode = Transparent
STEP 6 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> FLIP IMAGE >>> MIRROR EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - (Minus) 70 Vertical Offset = 0 Edge Mode = Transparent LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 7 PSP9: IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = LEFT 11 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED PSPX - PSPX7: IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = LEFT 11 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED
STEP 8 We need to centre the frame.... Right click on the Title Bar and select CUT from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options DELETE Raster 2
STEP 9 ACTIVATE Raster 1 Flood fill with GREEN #7fc79d EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE TEXTURE = esp_tan_patt_9 ,
STEP 9B Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 10 EDIT >>> CLEAR SELECTIONS >>> INVERT LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with DARK GREEN #43875e
STEP 11 EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS COLOUR = #000000 DESELECT
STEP 12 ACTIVATE Raster 3 EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE PATTERN = js~patterns_clouds_ltgreen ,
STEP 13 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
STEP 14 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK
STEP 15 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 16 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135
STEP 17 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 1 Antialias = OUTSIDE Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X7: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X7: There is no " Sample Merged" Select the area outside the scroll frame
STEP 18 ACTIVATE Raster 2 EDIT >>> CLEAR SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
STEP 19 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 4 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 2.00 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 4 Click OK.
STEP 20 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 21 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 DESELECT
STEP 22 ACTIVATE Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW BUT.. change DIRECTION to 0 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 180 ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE
STEP 23 ACTIVATE Raster 3 Open up the cutout frame image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> ARTISTIC EFFECTS >>> HALF TONE
STEP 24 ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings BUT .. change DIRECTION to 315 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 25 Open up the glamorous-portraits-2-11 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 60% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 26 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT tool and with a font of your choice add your name
STEP 27 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten) Save as .jpg image
