A Bit of Heaven_Misted by Kathy.pspimage
Save to a folder on your computer

DesignerDing.ttf
Save to your WINDOWS >>> FONTS folder
or
to a folder where you store your extra fonts


Aztec.bmp
Save to your PSP Patterns folder

STEP 1

In your MATERIALS PALETTE load
Aztec pattern in the foreground
using these settings
STEP 2

In your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load
BLACK" #000000 " in your foreground
Load
PINK" #f1dccd " in your background
STEP 3

Open a new image 700 x 500
Transparent background
PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit)
PSPX-X6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel

Flood fill with Aztec pattern

PSP9 - PSPX2:ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> CLARIFY
Strength of effect = 5

PSPX3- PSPX6: ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> LOCAL TONE MAPPING
Mapping strength = 3
PSPX5 - PSPX6: Block size = 8


PSP9 - PSPX2:
EDIT >>> Repeat Clarify
PSPX3- PSPX6: EDIT >>> Repeat Local Tone Mapping

Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9 - X6: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX
- X6: There is no " Sample Merged"


Select the CENTRE transparent area
Flood fill with BLACK

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 1
EDIT >>> CLEAR

Flood fill with BLACK

DESELECT

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 10

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

With PINK in your background (Materials Palette)

Select your TEXT tool
Locate the "Designer Ding" Font
and use the
se settings


Enter the lower case letter " i " seven times.. each on a separate row ...in the Text Entry Box



Click APPLY
STEP 11

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> CUTOUT

Vertical offset =

Horizontal offset = - (minus)1

Reposition with your MOVER tool
centering on the left of your frame

PSP9: IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED

PSPX - PSPX6:
IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED


Reposition with your MOVER tool centering
at the top of your frame

STEP 14

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

IMAGE >>> FLIP

IMAGE >>> MIRROR

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE
VISIBLE
STEP 15

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

With PINK in your background (Materials Palette)

Select your TEXT tool
Locate the "Designer Ding" Font and use the s
ame settings
EXCEPT change the SIZE to 48


Enter the number 8 once ...in the Text Entry Box



Click APPLY
STEP 16

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0


DESELECT

Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 17

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> SIMPLE >>>
TOP LEFT MIRROR


EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>>
DROP SHADOW

STEP 18

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
Save as .pspimage image
   
   
STEP 19

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Flood fill with
#e3e0d4

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
STEP 20

Open up the A Bit of Heaven_Misted by Kathy
image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
STEP 21

ACTIVATE the Merged layer

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>>
DROP SHADOW
STEP 22

EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135


LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Select your TEXT tool
and with a font of your choice add your name
,
STEP 23

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)

Save as .jpg image
