faces.pspimage

Save to a folder on your computer

CatoeCountryPastel.jgd
Save to your PSP Gradients folder

STEP 1

Open up the
elephantwithheart image in your PSP workspace
WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE
Close the original Image


STEP 2

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 35
Feather = 1
Antialias = Checked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9 - X6: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX
- X6: There is no " Sample Merged"
PSPX - X6: Use all layers = UNChecked

PSP9 - X6: ANTIALIAS = Outside

On the
eye closed layer...
Select the heart and use your SHIFT key
to select the white areas

NOTE: If you place your cursor where indicated by the
arrow, the Magic Wand will pick up most of the heart .

STEP 3

SELECTIONS >>> Promote Selection to layer

DESELECT

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

CLOSE
Copy of Promoted Selection
Copy (2) of Promoted Selection


ACTIVATE
Promoted Selection

STEP 4

Open up the
faces image in your PSP workspace
ACTIVATE
face 1

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options.
and position over the heart .

DESELECT
STEP 5

CLOSE
Promoted Selection

OPEN
& ACTIVATE
Copy of Promoted Selection


Back to the
faces image in your PSP workspace
ACTIVATE
face 2

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options.
and position over the heart .

DESELECT
STEP 6

CLOSE
Copy of Promoted Selection

OPEN
& ACTIVATE
Copy (2) of Promoted Selection


Back to the
faces image in your PSP workspace
ACTIVATE
face 3

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options.
and position over the heart .

DESELECT
STEP 7

ACTIVATE
eye open layer

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>>
DROP SHADOW

ACTIVATE
eye closed layer

EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.
STEP 8

Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown

Save as heartani.pspimage

and mimimize for now
STEP 9

In your MATERIALS PALETTE load
CatoeCountryPastel GRADIENT in the foreground
using these settings
STEP 10

Open a new image 650 x 550
Transparent background
PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
PSPX3-6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel

Flood fill with GRADIENT

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

IMAGE >>> MIRROR

SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 10
EDIT >>> CLEAR

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE MORE
EDIT >>> Repeat Enhance Edges More


STEP 11

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>>
DROP SHADOW
STEP 12

EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow..
change DIRECTION to 135


DESELECT
STEP 13

ACTIVATE Raster 1

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE


STEP 14

Open up the
AJLoveShea image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 50%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>>
DROP SHADOW
Same settings

Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 15

Open up the
Valhearts001_btf image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

DROP SHADOW
Same settings

Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 16

ACTIVATE Raster 1

Open up the jcw_bunny_with_balloon image
in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> MIRROR

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 50%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>>
DROP SHADOW
Same settings

Reposition with your MOVER tool


STEP 17

Open up the
Kirsty06_WordArt_4 image
in your PSP workspace
ACTIVATE
layer 3

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>>
DROP SHADOW
Same settings

Reposition with your MOVER tool

STEP 18

LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER


Select your TEXT TOOL
with font and settings of your choice
add your name.
STEP 19

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

Right click on Title Bar and select Copy from the options

In ANIMATION SHOP

Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options.

Depress your CTRL key and press the letter L ... 7 times
STEP 20

ACTIVATE your heartani.pspimage

With your LAYER PALETTE set up as shown

SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
(Keep selected as this not only stops your image jumping
in Animation Shop but it preserves the size of the image)


Right click on Title Bar and select
Copy
merged from the options

STEP 21

In ANIMATION SHOP


Right click the workspace and select
'Paste As New Animation' from the options.

Back to PSP.


Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown

Right click on Title Bar and select
Copy
merged from the options

STEP 22

In ANIMATION SHOP


Right click top of frame image and select
'Paste After Current Frame'
from the options.

Back to PSP.


Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown

Right click on Title Bar and select
Copy
merged from the options

STEP 23

In ANIMATION SHOP


Right click top of frame image and select
'Paste After Current Frame'
from the options.

Back to PSP.


Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown

Right click on Title Bar and select
Copy
merged from the options
STEP 24

In ANIMATION SHOP


Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.

Edit >> Select All
Edit >> Copy
Edit >> Propagate Paste

Activate frame 4 (F:4)

Edit >> Paste After Current Frame

Animation >> Reverse frames

Edit >> Select All
Edit >> Copy
Edit >> Propagate Paste

STEP 25

Activate the 'background' frames

Edit >> Select All

Edit >> Paste into selected frame

ZOOM in on the first frame (F:1)... and place the image as shown
then release your mouse button



STEP 26

Edit >> Select All

Right click on Title Bar of frames
Select 'Frame Properties' from the options
Display time =
40
STEP 27

Right click inside frame 1 (F:1)

Select 'Frame Properties' from the options
Display time =
50

STEP 28

NOTE: Animation Shop will automatically merge frames F:4 and F:5 and double the Display time
since they are exactly the same image. So your animation will end up with 7 frames not 8.



View >> Animation
and while it is still running,
File >> Save As

Locate the folder in which you wish to save it.

Name your animation.

With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT
until you get to the last one... click FINISH

Close the Animation
Close the frames.
Close Animation Shop
