STEP 1 Open up the tropical-beach image in your PSP workspace WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE Close the original Image LAYERS >>> Promote background Layer Rename this layer bgd1 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to BURN Rename this layer bgd2 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to OVERLAY Rename this layer bgd3 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to MULTIPLY Rename this layer bgd4
STEP 2 CLOSE layers bgd2, bgd3, bgd4 Keep bgd4 active Open up the frame7 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
STEP 3 Open up the c'est l'été.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 55% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Choose your SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Rectangle Mode = Replace Feather = 0 Antialias = Checked Select the text and delete DESELECT ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
STEP 4 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 5 ACTIVATE Raster 1 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow. LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 6 Open up the Anemone3 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> MIRROR IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 40% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 7 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN Open up the vsc_blue-crab image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 45% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 8 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN Open up the Seashells-SueK image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 65% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 9 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN In your MATERIALS PALETTE Load ORANGE " #9c4537 " in your foreground Load CREAM " #d7d3bb " in your background
STEP 10 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Flood fill with ORANGE SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK Flood fill with CREAM
STEP 11 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 EDIT >>> CLEAR Repeat both Drop Shadows Flood fill with ORANGE EFFECTS >>> ARTISTIC EFFECTS >>> HALFTONE Ink = ORANGE #9c4537 Background = WHITE
STEP 12 ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 10 EDIT >>> CLEAR Repeat both Drop Shadows Flood fill with CREAM
STEP 13 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 EDIT >>> CLEAR Repeat both Drop Shadows Flood fill with ORANGE SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR Repeat both Drop Shadows DESELECT
STEP 14 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 Rename this layer frame
STEP 15 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name Rename this layer name
STEP 16 Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 17 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 18 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 19 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 20 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options. ----------------------- RIGHT Click inside the third frame (F:3) Select 'Copy' from the options RIGHT Click inside the fourth frame (F:4) Select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.
STEP 21 RIGHT Click inside the second frame (F:2) Select 'Copy' from the options RIGHT Click inside the fifth frame (F:5) Select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.
STEP 22 Edit >> Select All Right click on Title Bar of frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 30
STEP 23 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop
