Save to a folder on your computer

BROADW.TTF
Save to your WINDOWS >>> FONTS folder
or
to a folder where you store your extra fonts.

STEP 1

Open a new image 700 x 600
Transparent background
PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
PSPX3-X6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel

VIEW >>> RULERS

SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL


Open up the Soccer Field Flame image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options


Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.


DO NOT DESELECT
STEP 2

In your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load
OCHRE #dba938 in your foreground
Load
RED #ae2f1d in your background
STEP 3
(PSPX6: New Raster Layer)
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Flood fill with RED

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> Select Selection Borders
STEP 4

Flood fill with OCHRE

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT
( PSPX6: Layers >>> Merge down )

Rename this layer

STEP 5

Open up the
JF-Template66 image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

ADJUST >>> COLOUR BALANCE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE
PSPX - X6: IMAGE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE

EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET
Horizontal Offset = 0
Vertical Offset = - (minus) 56
Edge Mode = Transparent

Rename this layer
template
STEP 6

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode =
ADD (Shift)
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9 - X6: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX
- X6: There is no " Sample Merged"
PSPX - X6: Use all layers = UNChecked


Select the inner sections of the template
STEP 7

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 2

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

Flood fill selected areas with OCHRE

In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 60%
Change the BLEND MODE to COLOR


DO NOT DESELECT
Rename this layer

STEP 8

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER


Flood fill selected areas with RED

In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 60%
Change the BLEND MODE to BURN


LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
DESELECT

Rename this layer

STEP 9

LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER


Select your TEXT TOOL
with font and settings of your choice
add your name


LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE UP


Rename this layer name
STEP 10

ACTIVATE the
template layer

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>>
DROP SHADOW
STEP 11

EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135
STEP 12

ACTIVATE the
name layer

Open up the
kids-playing-soccer image in your PSP workspace

Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Rectangle
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNChecked


Select the top left image

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.


Reposition with your MOVER tool

Back to the
kids-playing-soccer image

Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL
Same settings


Select the centre top image

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.


Reposition with your MOVER tool

but keep

STEP 20

ACTIVATE the template layer

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Select your TEXT TOOL
FONT = Broadway


(PSPX6: You may need to change your size to 100 or more )

Place your cursor at 350 pixels across and 100 pixels down

Using upper case type the word SOCCER in the Text Entry box
(PSPX6: Hold down your shift key to get the Text Entry box to appear)





EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0


Rename this layer soccer
STEP 21

Open up the
soccer-ball image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 23%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

(PSPX6: You may have to use your MOVER Tool
to get the correct placement)


EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET
Horizontal Offset = - (minus) 280
Vertical Offset = 236
Edge Mode = Transparent

'Paste As New Animation' from the options.

Select 'Frame Properties' from the options
Display time =
60
STEP 33

Edit >> Select None

Click inside the first frame (F:1) to activate

Right click inside frame 1 (F:1) and select 'Frame Properties' from the options
Display time = 150


STEP 34

View >> Animation
and while it is still running,
File >> Save As

Locate the folder in which you wish to save it.

Name your animation.

With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT
until you get to the last one... click FINISH

Close the Animation
Close the frames.
Close Animation Shop
RESIZING ANIMATIONS

Click on the Title Bar of the frames

Animation >> Resize animation

Select width and height in pixels

Click OK

Save your animation
