STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel PSPX3-X6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Open up the waves image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT
STEP 2 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to EXCLUSION
STEP 3 ACTIVATE Raster 1 IMAGE >>> FLIP IMAGE >>> MIRROR ADJUST >>> BLUR >>> GAUSSIAN BLUR Radius = 20.00 SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 10 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT ADJUST >>> ADD/REMOVE NOISE >>> ADD NOISE
STEP 4 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
STEP 5 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 70 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK
STEP 6 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 7 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 DESELECT
STEP 8 ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings BUT Change DISTANCE to 10 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 315
STEP 9 ACTIVATE Copy (2) of Raster 1 Open up the 17ifxj89.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 50% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Sharpen if you wish EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 210 Vertical Offset = 185 Edge Mode = Transparent
STEP 10 Open up the JF_WA_6.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> COLOUR BALANCE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE PSPX - X6: IMAGE >>> NEGATIVE IMAGE LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 11 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 2 Colour = Black Opacity = 70 Blur = 0 EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = 165 Vertical Offset = - (minus) 60 Edge Mode = Transparent ,
STEP 12 LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE Rename this layer bgd
STEP 13 Open up the 1aBarbKermis-m44.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - (minus) 90 Vertical Offset = - (minus) 100 Edge Mode = Transparent (Example shown at 80%)
STEP 14 Open up the 1aBarbKermis-m43.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET Horizontal Offset = - (minus) 105 Vertical Offset = 100 Edge Mode = Transparent (Example shown at 70%)
STEP 15 SAVE YOUR WORK ACTIVATE the bgd layer Right click on Title Bar and select Copy from the options In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Click on the "Paste After Current" icon 12 times You will now have 13 frames.
STEP 16 Back to PSP. SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL ACTIVATE Raster 2 Right click on Title Bar and select Copy from the options In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options.
STEP 17 Back to PSP. SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL ACTIVATE Raster 1 Right click on Title Bar and select Copy from the options In ANIMATION SHOP Click on the "Paste After Current" icon Click inside frame 1 (F:1) to activate
STEP 18 Effects >> Insert Image Transition >>> Morph. Click on CUSTOMIZE button Enter these settings Click OK Enter these settings Click OK
STEP 19 Edit >> Select All Edit >> Copy Edit >> Propagate Paste Activate the background frames Edit >> Select All Edit >> Paste into selected frame ZOOM in on the first frame (F:1) and place the image as shown then click your left mouse button to place.
STEP 20 Right Click inside frame 1 (F:1) to activate Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 100 Right Click inside frame 12 (F:12) to activate Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 150
STEP 21 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop
RESIZING ANIMATIONS Click on the Title Bar of the frames Animation >> Resize animation Select width and height in pixels Click OK Save your animation
