STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel PSPX3-X6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Flood fill with GREEN #1d532e
STEP 2 Open up the stairway-to-heaven-cummings image in your PSP workspace WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE Close the original Image LAYERS >>> Promote background Layer EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> Transparency >>> Eliminate White Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
STEP 3 Go back to your green background image LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to OVERLAY
STEP 4 Open up the 1c14115352bc.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 5 In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to OVERLAY LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE Rename this layer bgd
STEP 6 Open up the enchanted.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET
STEP 7 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> PERSPECTIVE SHADOW Rename this layer lady 11
NOTE: I am not removing any shadows of the little 'shapes' along the way because I forgot and wasn't up to redoing the tutorial.
STEP 8 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE CLOSE lady 11 Choose your SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Rectangle Mode = Replace Feather = 0 Antialias = UNChecked Select the shape shown ************ EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT Rename this layer lady 10
STEP 9 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE CLOSE lady 10 Choose your SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the shape shown ************ EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT Rename this layer lady 9

STEP 16 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE CLOSE lady 3 Choose your SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the shape shown ************ EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT Rename this layer lady 2
STEP 17 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE CLOSE lady 2 Choose your SELECTION TOOL Same settings Select the last little shape. ************ EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT Your image should look like this Rename this layer lady 1 SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 18 Open up the frame image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Rename this layer frame
STEP 19 Activate the bgd layer LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 20 Open up the mav_logo_globe.png image in your PSP workspace WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE Close the original Image IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 30% Ensure "Resize all layers" is CHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 21 Right click on Title Bar and select Copy from the options In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options Effects >> Insert Image Effect >>> Rotate Click on the CUSTOMIZE button first Insert these settings Click OK Insert these settings Click OK and minimize for now
STEP 22 Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 23 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 24 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste After Current' on top menu Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options ,
STEP 25 Continue in this manner until you have 11 frames... ending with lady 11
STEP 26 Maximize the globe animation Edit >> Select All Edit >> Copy Edit >> Propagate Paste Activate the background frames Edit >> Select All ZOOM in on the first frame (F:1) Edit >> Paste into selected frame and place the image as shown... then release your mouse button
STEP 27 REPEAT Edit >> Paste into selected frame and place the image as shown... then release your mouse button ,
STEP 28 Activate the globe frames Animation >> Reverse frames Edit >> Select All Edit >> Copy Edit >> Propagate Paste Activate the background frames Edit >> Select All ZOOM in on the first frame (F:1) Edit >> Paste into selected frame and place the image as shown... then release your mouse button
STEP 29 Right click on Title Bar of the background frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 20
STEP 30 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop
RESIZING ANIMATIONS Click on the Title Bar of the frames Animation >> Resize animation Select width and height in pixels Click OK Save your animation
