STEP 1 In your MATERIALS PALETTE Load RED ' #ed0505 ' in your foreground Load WHITE ' #ffffff ' in your background Click on the GRADIENT option on your Foreground Locate the "Foreground-background" gradient and use these settings.
STEP 2 Open a new image 650 x 550 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX-X6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Flood fill with RED LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with Gradient IMAGE >>> MIRROR EFFECTS >>> REFLECTION EFFECTS >>> ROTATING MIRROR Horizontal = 0 Rotation angle = 180 Edge Mode = Reflect IMAGE >>> FLIP
STEP 3 EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE MORE ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST Brightness = (minus) -20 Contrast = 0 Open up the c25 masques 2012 inedit 15 image in your PSP workspace and minimize. STEP 5 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Rename the layer = Group - Raster 3
STEP 6 ACTIVATE Group - Raster 2 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 7 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 8 VIEW >>> RULERS LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER CLOSE the Merged layer Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 9 Flood fill with WHITE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE COLOUR = #c0c0c0 PATTERN = goldenbeads ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE
STEP 10 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 70 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5
STEP 11 Flood fill with WHITE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE Same settings ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 70 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5
STEP 12 Flood fill with WHITE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE Same settings ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 70 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK DESELECT
STEP 13 Select your RASTER DEFORM tool Mode = SCALE use default settings PSPX-X6:Select your PICK tool Depress your CTRL key and drag the top right node down level with the 100 pixel mark on your left ruler.
STEP 14 Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow Select the MOVER tool to disengage the DEFORMATION tool (PICK tool) ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X6: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X6: There is no " Sample Merged" PSPX - X6: Use all layers = UNChecked Select the OUTER transparent area SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
STEP 15 In your MATERIALS PALETTE load Gold Foil pattern in the foreground using these settings
STEP 16 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN Flood fill the selected area with the pattern DESELECT
STEP 17 ACTIVATE Raster 1 With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings. Select the centre of the frame SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 1
STEP 18 ACTIVATE Raster 2 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT ACTIVATE Raster 1 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> MIRROR LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 19 Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 20 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with WHITE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE Same settings ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 70 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK Flood fill with gold pattern DESELECT
STEP 21 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 70 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 22 With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings. and while depressing your SHIFT KEY... Select the CENTRE transparent areas of both frames SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 4 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN Flood fill with Dark Red #9e0505
STEP 23 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT ACTIVATE Raster 2 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 315 DESELECT
STEP 24 Open up the Misted_A_Kiss_In_Paris_RM image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Reposition with your MOVER tool LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
STEP 25 ACTIVATE Raster 2 With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings. Select the OUTER transparent area ACTIVATE Raster 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT
STEP 26 ACTIVATE Raster 2 Open up the DB Vaybs Love wa03 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Select your RASTER DEFORM tool Mode = SCALE use default settings PSPX-X6:Select your PICK tool
STEP 27 Depress your CTRL key and adjust the top nodes so the text fits as shown.
STEP 28 Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow Select the MOVER tool to disengage the DEFORMATION tool (PICK tool) EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 2 Colour = WHITE Opacity = 70 Blur = 0 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 29 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135
STEP 30 OPEN & ACTIVATE the lower Merged layer EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS
STEP 31 ACTIVATE the top Merged layer Open up the Hearts image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings BUT change DIRECTION to 135
STEP 32 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with Dark Red #9e0505 LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> SEND TO BOTTOM In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE on the lower Merged layer to LUMINANCE (L)
STEP 33 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE Same settings ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 70 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 315
