STEP 1 In your MATERIALS PALETTE Load DARK BLUE' #0a2357 ' in your foreground Load LIGHT BLUE ' #4a67a8 ' in your background Click on the GRADIENT option on your Foreground Locate the "Foreground-background" gradient and use these settings. ..
STEP 2 Open a new image 650 x 500 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX-X6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Flood fill with the gradient ADJUST >>> BLUR >>> RADIAL BLUR

STEP 4 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 90 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK IMAGE >>> MIRROR
STEP 5 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE IMAGE >>> MIRROR IMAGE >>> FLIP LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 6 Open up the Abstract_Entity_by_relhom image in your PSP workspace WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE Close the original Image LAYERS >>> Promote background layer EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> Transparency >>> Eliminate Black LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE (4 times) LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 7 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE CLOSE Copy of Raster 1 ACTIVATE Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> REFLECTION EFFECTS >>> ROTATING MIRROR
STEP 8 OPEN & ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 IMAGE >>> FLIP IMAGE >>> MIRROR EFFECTS >>> REFLECTION EFFECTS >>> ROTATING MIRROR Same settings PSP9 - PSPX2:ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> CLARIFY Strength of effect = 3 PSPX3- PSPX6: ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> LOCAL TONE MAPPING Mapping strength = 3 PSPX6: Block size = 8 EDIT >>> Repeat CLARIFY / LOCAL TONE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 9 Open up the CNY2014 image in your PSP workspace Activate the text layer Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 10 Open up the CNY2014 image in your PSP workspace Activate the 2014 layer Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 11 Open up the orientalRose image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> PERSPECTIVE SHADOW
STEP 12 Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 13 Open up the WA-peace-symbol image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 14 Open up the CNY-Horse image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 15 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten) IMAGE >>> ADD BORDERS = SYMMETRIC 20 COLOUR = #a8501e SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT Flood fill with DARK BLUE Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options DESELECT
