STEP 1 In your MATERIALS PALETTE Load the ' JSC_Spruce ' gradient in your foreground using these settings.
STEP 2 In your MATERIALS PALETTE Load DARK GREEN ' #3d463d ' in your background
STEP 3 Open a new image 700 x 700 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX-X6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Flood fill with GRADIENT EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE MORE EDIT >>> Repeat Enhance Edges More
STEP 4 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 5 CLOSE Raster 1 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT
STEP 6 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> WEAVE Weave colour = #3d463d Gap colour = #3d463d
STEP 7 ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
STEP 8 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL Same settings BUT change ANGLE to 180
STEP 9 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

STEP 11 ACTIVATE Copy (4) of Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK DESELECT
STEP 12 ACTIVATE Copy (2) of Raster 1 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE Rename this layer Copy (5) of Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> PAGE CURL BOTH Colours = #719382

STEP 14 ACTIVATE Copy (4) of Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> PAGE CURL BOTH Colours = #719382

STEP 16 ACTIVATE Copy (5) of Raster 1 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = ADD (Shift) Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = Checked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X6: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X6: There is no " Sample Merged" PSP9 - X6: ANTIALIAS = Outside Select the 4 corners

STEP 20 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 ACTIVATE Copy (3) of Raster 1 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. Same settings EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 315 ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings except Mode = Replace Select the CENTRE transparent area
STEP 21 ACTIVATE Copy (4) of Raster 1 EDIT >>> CLEAR ACTIVATE Copy (3) of Raster 1 EDIT >>> CLEAR ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 DESELECT
STEP 22 ACTIVATE Copy (4) of Raster 1 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with DARK GREEN #3d463d SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK
STEP 23 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE Save as .pspimage image
STEP 24 OPEN & ACTIVATE Raster 1 Open up the fantasy-forest image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 65% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 60% Change the BLEND MODE to HARD LIGHT ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE
STEP 25 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 100% Change the BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE
STEP 26 Open up the who_s_the_cutest_dragon image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 55% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 27 Open up the cute dinosaurs image in your PSP workspace Activate Raster 2 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> MIRROR EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 28 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT tool and with a font of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten) Save as .jpg image
