STEP 1 In your MATERIALS PALETTE Load BROWN ' #a9501f ' in your foreground Load YELLOW ' #f4c94a ' in your background On your background select the GRADIENT option and enter these settings
STEP 2 Open a new image 600 x 500 Transparent background PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = RGB 8bits/channel PSPX3-X6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Flood fill with GRADIENT EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE MORE EDIT >>> Repeat Enhance Edges More VIEW >>> RULERS
STEP 3 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Choose your SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Ellipse Mode = Replace Feather = 2 Antialias = Checked Starting at 400 pixels across and 250 pixels down drag your cursor to 220 pixels across and 450 pixels down and release
STEP 4 Flood fill with GRADIENT SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 30 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
STEP 5 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 95% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
STEP 6 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 7 ACTIVATE RASTER 2 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.
STEP 8 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X3: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X3: There is no " Sample Merged" PSPX - X3: Use all layers = UNChecked Select the centre of the oval frame SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 18 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
STEP 9 Open up the 21.pspimage image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. DESELECT IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 70% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Reposition UP with your MOVER tool
STEP 10 Open up the OWL.pspimage image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 60% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 11 ACTIVATE RASTER 2 With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings. Select the area outside the oval frame SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 30 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT ACTIVATE RASTER 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings
STEP 12 ZOOM IN on the owl and Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Point to Point Mode = Replace Feather = 0 Antialias = Checked Select the area shown SELECTIONS >>> PROMOTE SELECTION TO LAYER DESELECT
STEP 13 On the Promoted Selection layer Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL Same settings ZOOM IN Select one eye as shown THEN Depress your SHIFT key and select the other eye
STEP 14 Flood fill with BLACK DESELECT
STEP 15 ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 2 layer LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 16 CLOSE Promoted Selection layer CLOSE Raster 4 CLOSE Raster 3 ACTIVATE RASTER 2 With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings. Select the CENTRE of the oval frames SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 20 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> SEND TO BOTTOM LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE UP Flood fill with BROWN ' #a9501f ' DESELECT
STEP 17 ACTIVATE RASTER 2 Open up the leaves image in your PSP workspace WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE Close the original Image IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 55% Ensure "Resize all layers" is CHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE
STEP 18 On your resized copy of the leaves Activate layer L1 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings BUT Change DISTANCE to 5 and BLUR to 5 Reposition with your MOVER tool Rename this layer L1
STEP 19 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE PSP9:IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 30 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED PSPX - PSPX6: IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 30 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool Rename this layer L2
STEP 20 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE PSP9:IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = LEFT 70 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED PSPX - PSPX6: IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = LEFT 70 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool Rename this layer L3
STEP 21 On your resized copy of the leaves Activate layer L2 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings Reposition with your MOVER tool Rename this layer L4

STEP 24 Open up the 8.png image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 55% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 25 Open up the ThanksgivingWordart_DesinzbySuzy image in your PSP workspace Activate the HThanksgiving layer Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. PSP9:IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = LEFT 30 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED PSPX - PSPX6: IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = LEFT 30 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 26 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with BROWN ' #a9501f ' SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 EDIT >>> CLEAR EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 70 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK
STEP 27 Flood fill with YELLOW ' #f4c94a ' SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 70 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK
STEP 28 Flood fill with BROWN ' #a9501f ' SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 70 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK DO NOT DESELECT
STEP 29 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings DESELECT	TOP BOTTOM
STEP 30 LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name to the bottom right corner of the layer. OPEN all layers Save your work as .pspimage
STEP 31 With the top layer still active LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN 3 times ACTIVATE Raster 4 (The owl) LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN 3 times Set up your LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 32 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up your LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 33 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up your LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 34 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up your LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 35 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options. Back to PSP. Set up your LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 36 Edit >> Select All Right click on Title Bar of frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time =20
STEP 37 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop
