STEP 1

Open a new image 600 x 600
Transparent background
PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
PSPX3: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel

Flood fill with
BLACK

Rename this layer bgd
STEP 2

CLOSE the
bgd layer

Open up the tubeclaudiaviza-fantasia195 image
in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select
COPY from the options


Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options


IMAGE >>> RESIZE =
70%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE


Reposition with your MOVER tool

Rename this layer

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE


IMAGE >>> MIRROR

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 7

Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE


In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to
40%

Reposition with your MOVER tool

Rename this layer tube2
STEP 4

Open up the
COMICDEVIL~DAWN
image
in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select
COPY from the options


Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options

Select the inner blue border
STEP 9

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL

Same settings

ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST


EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 75 Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT

Repeat both Drop Shadows
Rename this layer frame
STEP 10

Open up the
JF_WA_heat
image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options


Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options


EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE
PRESET = opalized_orange



Click OK
STEP 11

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 75
Blur = 0


Reposition with your MOVER tool


Rename this layer
text
STEP 12

LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER


Select your TEXT TOOL
with font and settings of your choice
add your name to the top right of the layer.

Rename this layer name.
STEP 13

ACTIVATE the frame layer

Right click on the Title Bar and select
COPY from the options


Right click in
your PSP workspace
and select PASTE AS NEW
IMAGE from the options.
Rename the layer

Open up the flames_JF image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select
COPY from the options


Right click on the Title Bar of your
frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options


Reposition with your MOVER tool so the bottom
lies just above the orange border on the frame
and overlaps the frame on the sides

Rename this layer

STEP 14

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN



STEP 15

Duplicate the flame1 layer 5 times

Rename the duplicated layers flame2 to flame6

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace

PSPX - X3: Use all layers = UNChecked


Select the CENTRE transparent area

STEP 23

IMAGE >>> CROP TO SELECTION


DELETE the
frame layer
STEP 24

Save as an Animation Shop compatible file
FILE >>> SAVE AS

(I named mine AS_flames.psp)



In later versions of PSP it appears as shown below.



STEP 25

Back to your background image

Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown

Right click on Title Bar and select
Copy merged from the options

STEP 26

In ANIMATION SHOP

Right click the workspace and select
'Paste As New Animation' from the options.


Depress your CTRL key and press the letter L 5 times

You now have 6 frames
STEP 27

FILE >>> OPEN >>> AS_flames

Edit >> Select All
Edit >> Copy
Edit >> Propagate Paste

Activate your background frames

Edit >> Select All

ZOOM in on the first frame (F:1)
Edit >> Paste into selected frame

Place the image as shown then release your mouse button



STEP 28

View >> Animation
and while it is still running,
File >> Save As

Locate the folder in which you wish to save it.

Name your animation.

With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT
until you get to the last one... click FINISH

Close the Animation
Close the frames.
Close Animation Shop
