PSP8 to PSPX3

You need a working knowledge of the PSP program as many are advanced tutorials. 
The tubes used are not mine and the copyright belongs to the artist.
The supplies have been recieved from group shares or from the internet.

No infringement intended.

  Note: Remember to save often in PSP and to Edit >> Empty Clipboard in PSP when

you come out of AS and back into PSP.

Images are from purchased cd's, groups or downloads from the internet.

STEP 1

Open a new image 500 x 500
Transparent background
PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
PSPX3: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel

Flood fill with black #000000

Rename this layer bg
STEP 2

Open paper template tube in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar
and select COPY from the options.

Right click on the Title Bar of your 'working' image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Rename this layer template
STEP 3

Open dingbat accent tube in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar
and select COPY from the options.

Right click on the Title Bar of your 'working' image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Rename this layer dingbat
Place as shown
STEP 4

Open pretty lady w bunnies18 tube in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar
and select COPY from the options.

Right click on the Title Bar of your 'working' image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> MIRROR
Place as shown

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets =
5
Colour = Black
Opacity =
55
Blur = 3.00


Rename this layer lady
STEP 5

ACTIVATE the dingbat layer

Open Text tube in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar
and select COPY from the options.

Right click on the Title Bar of your 'working' image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets =
1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 55
Blur =
0.00

Rename this layer text

Place in top right corner.
NOTE: we will do a final placement later.

STEP 6

Open grass tube in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar
and select COPY from the options.

Right click on the Title Bar of your 'working' image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Rename this layer grass

Place in right bottom corner


STEP 7

Open single locked layers ( smallest bunny) tube
in your PSP workspace

WINDOW >> DUPLICATE
Close the original image

You will notice in the layer palette there is a number
1 this means the layers are locked together.

STEP 8

Activate Raster 1

Right click on the Title Bar
and select COPY from the options.

Right click on the Title Bar of your 'working' image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

NOTE: these layers will copy to the center don't move them.

Rename this layer s rabbit 1

Back to rabbit image
STEP 9

Activate Raster 2

Right click on the Title Bar
and select COPY from the options.

Right click on the Title Bar of your 'working' image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options
.
Rename this layer s rabbit 2

Back to rabbit image
STEP 10

Activate Raster 3

Right click on the Title Bar
and select COPY from the options.

Right click on the Title Bar of your 'working' image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Rename this layer s rabbit 3

NOTE: now line up the lady, words, grass.
With your Mover Tool
move the center locked bunny layers onto the grass.


STEP 11

LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER

Select your TEXT TOOL
with font and settings of your choice
add your name to the bottom left corner of the layer.

Rename this layer name.


On to the animation!
NOTE: When you use the warp brush to make an animation the size of the brush
can be changed to fit the area your working on.
We will work on 3 animated layers and will do
some animation on each. You may add more or different movements these are a sample.
Red circles will show what area I moved with warp brush.
STEP 12

In your LAYER PALETTE

Click on each chain link until it say "None"
STEP 13

Select your WARP Brush
MODE = PUSH



Zoom into the bunny corner layers.

CLOSE s rabbit 2 layer
CLOSE s rabbit 3 layer
Activate s rabbit 1 layer
STEP 14

Hold down the left mouse button and push
the tail in ( --> ) just a little.
CLICK APPLY
STEP 15

CLOSE s rabbit 1 layer
Activate s rabbit 2 layer

move the ear a little.
CLICK APPLY
STEP 16

CLOSE s rabbit 2 layer
Activate s rabbit 3 layer

Activate s rabbit 3 layer
move the nose in a little
CLICK APPLY
STEP 17

Activate layer lady

Rename this layer as1

LAYERS >> DUPLICATE >>TWICE

Rename these layers as2 and as3

Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown.
STEP 18

Close layer as3
Activate layer as2
Select your WARP Brush same setting

Select a area you want to move and
hold down the left mouse button and push in just a little
then choose another area and do the same thing.

It takes very small movements
STEP 19


NOTE: I made 4 moves on this layer the circles show where I applied the warp brush push and the arrows show the direction in which I pushed it




CLICK APPLY

STEP 20

CLOSE layer as2
OPEN & Activate layer as3

Select Clone Tool
PRESET = +Round 05

STEP 21

ZOOM IN on the bunny in the cage

I closed the eye on the bunny with the clone brush.
With the clone brush right click on an area right above the eye
to get a sample of the color.

STEP 22

Then left click over the eye a few times to
cover it but leave the bottom line.
STEP 23

Two more bunnies get a little push. Still on as3

Select your WARP Brush same setting

Do a little pushing on these two bunnies.

NOTE: I made 5 moves on this layer the circles show where I applied the warp brush push and the arrows show the direction in which I pushed it


CLICK APPLY
STEP 24


Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown

Note: when your as1 layer is open
your s rabbit 1 layer is open.
STEP 25

Right click on Title Bar and select
Copy merged from the options

In ANIMATION SHOP

Right click the workspace and select
'Paste As New Animation' from the options.

Back to PSP.

Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown

Note: when your as2 layer is open
your s rabbit 2 layer is open.
STEP 26

Right click on Title Bar and select
Copy merged from the options

In ANIMATION SHOP

Right click top of frame image and select
'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.

Back to PSP.

Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown

Note: when your as3 layer is open
your s rabbit 3 layer is open
STEP 27

Right click on Title Bar and select
Copy merged from the options

In ANIMATION SHOP

Right click top of frame image and select
'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.

File >>> Open and select the butterfly AS
in your supplies and open it.

Edit >> Select All
Edit >> Copy
Edit >> Propagate Paste

Select your Working Image
Edit >> Select All
Edit >> Paste into selected frame

ZOOM in on the first frame (F:1)
and place the image as shown
then release your mouse button
STEP 28

Edit >> Select All

Right click on Title Bar of frames
Select 'Frame Properties' from the options
Display time = 30
STEP 29

View >> Animation
and while it is still running,

File >> Save As

Locate the folder in which you wish to save it.

Name your animation.
With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT
until you get to the last one... click FINISH

Close the Animation
Close the frames.
Close Animation Shop
