STEP 1 Open a new image 650 x 500 Transparent background PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel PSPX3: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Open up the 3219408.jpg image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options. ADJUST >>> HUE & SATURATION >>> COLORIZE DESELECT Rename this layer bgd
STEP 2 In your MATERIALS PALETTE Load LIGHT BROWN " #aa886c" in your foreground Load DARK BROWN " #59412e" in your background
STEP 3 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with DARK BROWN SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with LIGHT BROWN SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with DARK BROWN SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT Rename this layer frame
STEP 4 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Minimize for now.
STEP 5 Open up the JF_22 image in your PSP workspace WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE Close the original Image With RASTER 1 active IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> MuRa's Meister >>> Copies >>> Encircle
STEP 6 ADJUST >>> HUE & SATURATION >>> COLORIZE Same settings EFFECTS >>> REFLECTION EFFECTS >>> ROTATING MIRROR
STEP 7 ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL COLOUR = #c0c0c0

STEP 11 Open up the JER_don´t_bug_me_adapted image in your PSP workspace WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE Close the original Image IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 30% Ensure "Resize all layers" is CHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Activate the MERGED layer EDIT >>> Repeat Sharpen
STEP 12 On your tag image Activate shape small layer Back to the cat image... with the MERGED layer active Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN ADJUST >>> HUE & SATURATION >>> COLORIZE Same settings Reposition down with your MOVER tool Rename this layer cat x-eyed
STEP 13 Back to the cat image... with the Copy of Merged layer active Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN ADJUST >>> HUE & SATURATION >>> COLORIZE Same settings Reposition down with your MOVER tool directly on top of the cat below .... doesn't matter if it is slightly off centre Rename this layer cat regular
STEP 14 Open up the LJH_debbiecookCats image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 14b Go back to the LJH_debbiecookCats image in your PSP workspace Activate the copyright layer Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. STEP 21 On your TAG image ... ACTIVATE cat x-eyed ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> GAMMA CORRECTION If you use PSPX or higher version... go HERE to find out how to add GAMMA CORRECTION to your ADJUST menu
STEP 22 ACTIVATE cat regular ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> GAMMA CORRECTION Same settings Close cat regular ACTIVATE cat x-eyed Back to the cc_bees image ACTIVATE bee 6 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options. ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings Reposition with your MOVER tool ON TOP OF CAT'S NOSE DESELECT
STEP 23 LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name to the bottom left corner of the layer. Rename this layer name.
STEP 24 Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 25 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. (Frame F:1) Back to PSP OPEN layer bee 1 Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 26 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.(Frame F:2) Back to PSP CLOSE layer bee 1 OPEN layer bee 2 Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 27 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.(Frame F:3) Back to PSP CLOSE layer bee 2 OPEN layer bee 3 Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 28 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.(Frame F:4) Back to PSP EDIT >>> Empty clipboard CLOSE layer bee 3 OPEN layer bee 4 Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 29 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.(Frame F:5) Back to PSP CLOSE layer bee 4 OPEN layer bee 5 Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 30 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.(Frame F:6) Back to PSP EDIT >>> Empty clipboard Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 31 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.(Frame F:7) EDIT >> Select All Right click on Title Bar of frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time =25 Click inside the last frame (F:7) to activate Right click on Title Bar of frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time =75
STEP 32 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop
