I saved you some work by creating the "birth" images for you in this tut. *S*
STEP 1 Open up the birth_bgd image in your PSP workspace WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE Close the original Image LAYERS >>> Promote background Layer Rename this layer bgd
STEP 2 Open up the birth2 image in your PSP workspace Activate Raster 1 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options (Do not close this image) Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool Rename this layer birth 1
STEP 3 Open up the birth2 image in your PSP workspace Activate Raster 2 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool Rename this layer birth 2
STEP 4 Open up the birth2 image in your PSP workspace Activate Raster 3 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool Rename this layer birth 3
STEP 5 Open up the birth2 image in your PSP workspace Activate Raster 4 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool Rename this layer birth 4
STEP 6 Open up the birth2 image in your PSP workspace Activate Raster 5 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Reposition with your MOVER tool Rename this layer birth 5 Close the birth2 image
STEP 7 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with BLUE #4b80ba SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with YELLOW #e9c667 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with WHITE EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 50 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK DESELECT
STEP 8 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X3: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X3: There is no " Sample Merged" PSPX - X3: Use all layers = UNChecked Select the Blue border EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL DESELECT
STEP 9 With your MAGIC WAND Same settings Select the Yellow border EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL Same settings DESELECT With your MAGIC WAND Same settings Select the White border EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL Same settings DESELECT
STEP 10 With your MAGIC WAND Same settings Select the centre of your image SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 11 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 DESELECT Rename this layer frame
STEP 12 LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name to the bottom left corner of the layer. Rename this layer name.
STEP 13 Open up the different special image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 14 EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE COLOUR = #c0c0c0 Pattern = glass86
STEP 15 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = - ( minus ) 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Rename this layer text.
STEP 16 Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 17 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options.
STEP 18 Back to PSP. EDIT >>> Empty clipboard OPEN the birth1 layer Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options In ANIMATION SHOP Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.
STEP 19 Back to PSP. EDIT >>> Empty clipboard OPEN the birth2 layer Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options In ANIMATION SHOP Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.
STEP 20 Back to PSP. EDIT >>> Empty clipboard OPEN the birth3 layer Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options In ANIMATION SHOP Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.
STEP 21 Back to PSP. EDIT >>> Empty clipboard OPEN the birth4 layer Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options In ANIMATION SHOP Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options.
STEP 22 Back to PSP. EDIT >>> Empty clipboard OPEN the birth5 layer Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options In ANIMATION SHOP Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options. Edit >> Select All Right click on Title Bar of frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 55
STEP 23 Right Click inside the first frame (F:1) Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 100
STEP 24 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop
