STEP 1 Open up the masai-spirit-fania-simon image in your PSP workspace WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE Close the original Image LAYERS >>> Promote background layer
STEP 2 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE EFFECTS>>> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS >>> PERSPECTIVE - VERTICAL
STEP 3 EFFECTS>>> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS >>> CIRCLE Edge Mode = Transparent
STEP 4 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135
STEP 5 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 6 Flood fill with GREEN #008e06 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE Pattern = JF29
STEP 7 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 10 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK
STEP 8 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
STEP 9 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X3: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X3: There is no " Sample Merged" PSPX - X3: Use all layers = UNChecked Select the centre of the small frame
STEP 10 ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS
STEP 11 ACTIVATE Raster 2 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 12 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 180 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 0 DESELECT
STEP 13 Open up the Amira image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> PERSPECTIVE SHADOW
STEP 14 Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 15 Open up the DBK AA BlkArt-004 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 55% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> PERSPECTIVE SHADOW Same settings Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 16 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Flood fill with GREEN #008e06 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 8 EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE Same settings SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 6 EDIT >>> CLEAR EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK DESELECT
STEP 17 With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings Select the green border EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL DESELECT
STEP 18 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Save as .psp image or .pspimage
STEP 19 LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name to the image. Save as .pspimage
STEP 20 Open up the Image6NEWsmall image in your PSP workspace WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE Close the original Image Save as an Animation Shop compatible file FILE >>> SAVE AS In later versions of PSP it appears as shown below.
STEP 21 Back to your tag... Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 22 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Depress your CTRL key and press the letter L (Upper Case) 6 times so you have 7 frames
STEP 23 STILL in ANIMATION SHOP FILE >>> OPEN Locate the 'monkey' image you saved Edit >> Select All Edit >> Copy Edit >> Propagate Paste Activate the background frames Edit >> Select All Edit >> Paste into selected frame ZOOM in on the first frame (F:1) and place the image as shown then release your mouse button Make sure you place it slightly lower than the 'blinds' effect so the top of the head is also slightly lower.
STEP 24 Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 25 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Depress your CTRL key and press the letter L (Upper Case) 6 times so you have 7 frames Edit >> Select All Edit >> Copy Edit >> Propagate Paste Activate the frames with the background and monkey Edit >> Paste into selected frame ZOOM in on the first frame (F:1) and place the image as shown then release your mouse button
STEP 26 Right click on Title Bar of frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 40 OR whatever speed you prefer
Resize the animation if you wish Click on the Title Bar of the frames Animation >> Resize animation Select width and height in pixels Click OK
STEP 27 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop
