STEP 1 Open a new image 600 x 500 Transparent background PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel PSPX3: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Flood fill with RED #de0202
STEP 2 EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS COLOUR = #4b4747 Rename this layer bgd
STEP 3 Open up the CDTframe image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Rename this layer frame
STEP 4 ACTIVATE the bgd layer Open up the canada_map image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 30% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Place in top right corner with your MOVER tool
STEP 5 In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to MULTIPLY LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
Your image should look like this
STEP 6 Open up the canadian-flag image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 30% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Place in top right corner with your MOVER tool
STEP 7 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 75 Blur = 5.00 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK
STEP 8 Open up the single red maple leaf image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 9 Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 10 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 11 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN (Twice)
STEP 12 Open up the rcmp1 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> PERSPECTIVE SHADOW
STEP 13 Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 14 CLOSE the frame layer LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE OPEN the frame layer
STEP 15 With the MERGED layer active Open up the beaver2 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 70% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> PERSPECTIVE SHADOW Same settings Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 16 Open up the HBCanada_WA image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 70% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN Rename this layer B1
STEP 17 Open up the beaver3 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 55% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool Rename this layer B2
STEP 18 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE Rename this layer B3 Select your DEFORMATION tool Mode = SCALE use default settings PSPX-X3:Select your PICK tool Move the duplicated beaver to the right and pull the rotate arm down as shown
STEP 19 Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow Select the MOVER tool to disengage the DEFORMATION tool (PICK tool) ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> PERSPECTIVE SHADOW Same settings ACTIVATE the B2 layer EDIT >>> Repeat Perspective Shadow.
STEP 20 ACTIVATE the B3 layer Open up the Beaver image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 30% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> PERSPECTIVE SHADOW Same settings Reposition with your MOVER tool Rename this layer B4
STEP 21 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE Rename this layer B5 Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 22 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE Rename this layer B6 Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 23 LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name to the top right corner of the layer. Rename this layer name.
STEP 24 Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 25 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Back to PSP. CLOSE layer B6 OPEN layer B5 Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 26 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options. Back to PSP. CLOSE layer B5 OPEN layer B4 Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 27 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options. Back to PSP. EDIT >>> Empty Clipboard CLOSE layer B4 OPEN layer B3 Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 28 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options. Back to PSP. CLOSE layer B3 OPEN layer B2 Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 29 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options. Back to PSP. CLOSE layer B2 OPEN layer B1 Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options
STEP 30 In ANIMATION SHOP Right click top of frame image and select 'Paste After Current Frame' from the options. Edit >> Select All Right click on Title Bar of frames Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 35
STEP 31 Right click inside frame 6 (F:6) Select 'Frame Properties' from the options Display time = 150
STEP 32 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop
