STEP 1 In your MATERIALS PALETTE Load the ' zilverpatroon ' pattern in your foreground using these settings Load BLUE ' #22384b ' in your background
STEP 2 Open a new image 650 x 500 Transparent background PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel PSPX6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Flood fill with Pattern SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 Flood fill with BLUE (In higher PSP versions you may need to change the MATCH MODE to NONE to use Flood fill tool)
STEP 3 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 8 Flood fill with Pattern SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
STEP 4 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT Flood fill with BLUE SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 Flood fill with Pattern SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> OUTER BEVEL

STEP 8 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK DESELECT
STEP 9 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE EFFECTS >>> REFLECTION EFFECTS >>> KALEIDOSCOPE
STEP 10 Choose your SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Rectangle Mode = Replace Feather = 0 Antialias = UNChecked Select the square frame in the centre
STEP 11 Hit your DELETE key DESELECT LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> SEND TO BOTTOM Flood fill with BLUE ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X6: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X6: There is no " Sample Merged" PSPX - X6: Use all layers = UNChecked Select the centre of your image
STEP 12 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 6 ACTIVATE Raster 2 Hit your DELETE key DESELECT
STEP 13 ACTIVATE Raster 1 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE PSP8 - PSP9: IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED PSPX - PSPX6: IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90 Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> SEND TO BOTTOM Rename this layer Copy (2) of Raster 1
STEP 14 With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings. and while depressing your SHIFT KEY.. Select the 2 transparent areas shown
STEP 15 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> SEND TO BOTTOM Flood fill with BLUE DESELECT
STEP 16 ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 17 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135
STEP 18 ACTIVATE Raster 1 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 315
STEP 19 ACTIVATE Copy (2) of Raster 1 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 20 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with BLUE SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2 Flood fill with Pattern SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2 EDIT >>> CLEAR EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK DESELECT
STEP 21 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE Open up the tree_jp image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 70% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 22 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> MIRROR LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN
STEP 23 Open up the xmas161 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 24 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> SIMPLE >>> TOP LEFT MIRROR LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE Save as .pspimage image
STEP 25 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with #c8d4d5 LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN Open up theCJ_Christmas Girl 1_Mist image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. Move down a little with your MOVER tool
STEP 26 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER ADD your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten) Save as .jpg image
