Materials

Image235j.psp
Weeping~kkk2003.psp
mr_549_Morning.pspimage
Save to a folder on your computer

STEP 1

Open a new image 600 x 600
Transparent background
PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
PSPX3: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel
STEP 2

Open up the
Image235j image in your PSP workspace
Activate the
Merged 6 layer

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

PSP9: IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED

PSPX - PSPX3:
IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED


STEP 3

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET
STEP 4

ACTIVATE Raster 2

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET
STEP 5

CLOSE Raster 1

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

EFFECTS >>> REFLECTION EFFECTS >>> KALEIDOSCOPE



ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

STEP 6

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 97%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
STEP 7

REPEAT STEP 6 ...3 more times
until you have 5 frames

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

STEP 8

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> WAVE


STEP 9

PSP9:
IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> ROTATE CLOCKWISE 90

PSPX - PSPX3:
IMAGE >>> ROTATE RIGHT

EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> WAVE
Same settings

PSP9: IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>>
ROTATE COUNTER CLOCKWISE 90

PSPX - PSPX3:
IMAGE >>> ROTATE LEFT
STEP 10

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

PSP9: IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 45
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED

PSPX - PSPX3:
IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT
45
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED


ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
STEP 11

Choose your SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Rectangle
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = Checked

Select the pattern in the centre of your image

Hit your DELETE key
STEP 12

ACTIVATE the Copy of Merged layer

Hit your DELETE key

ACTIVATE the Merged layer

Hit your DELETE key

DESELECT
STEP 13

ACTIVATE the Copy of Merged layer


With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9 - X3: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX
- X3: There is no " Sample Merged"
PSPX - X3: Use all layers = UNChecked

PSP9 - X3: ANTIALIAS = Outside


Select the centre transparent area

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 5
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

OPEN & ACTIVATE RASTER 1
Flood fill with
#ad7451

STEP 14

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS


DESELECT
STEP 15

ACTIVATE the Merged layer

With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings.

Select the area outside the border

STEP 16

ACTIVATE Raster 1

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS

Same settings but CHECK "Horizontal"

ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST
BRIGHTNESS = 35
CONTRAST = 15

DESELECT
STEP 17

ACTIVATE Copy (2) of Merged


With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings.

Select the area outside the border



STEP 18

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

ACTIVATE Raster 1

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

Flood fill with #ad7451

DESELECT

STEP 19

ACTIVATE the Merged layer

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>>
DROP SHADOW

STEP 20

EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow..
change DIRECTION to 135
STEP 21

ACTIVATE Copy of Merged

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>>
DROP SHADOW


STEP 22

EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow..
change DIRECTION to 135

ACTIVATE Copy (2) of Merged

Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT
STEP 26

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

Save as .pspimage image

STEP 27

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER


LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

Flood fill with
#f6bf9e

Open up the mr_549_Morning image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.


Reposition with your MOVER tool

STEP 28

Open up the
Weeping~kkk2003 image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.


Reposition with your MOVER tool
STEP 29

ADD your Name

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)

Save as .jpg image
