This was created using PSP9 but can be adapted for other versions of PSP.


REMEMBER TO SAVE YOUR WORK OFTEN
AND EMPTY YOUR CLIPBOARD OFTEN

STEP 28

With the '
bgd' layer active

Maximize the
kcame_nw_wordart 3 image
in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar
and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar
of your 'working' image and select
PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 40%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

Reposition with your MOVER tool

Rename this layer '
wordart'

Close the kcame_nw_wordart 3 image
STEP 29

Maximize the
ks_MEGreenbirds_kkat47 image
in your PSP workspace

Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Point to Point
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNChecked

Section off the '
bird' shown

Right click on the Title Bar and
select COPY from the options

STEP 30

Right click on the Title Bar
of your 'working' image and select
PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>>
DROP SHADOW
Same settings

Reposition with your MOVER tool


STEP 31

Maximize the
ks_MEGreenbirds_kkat47 image
in your PSP workspace

Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Point to Point
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNChecked

Section off the '
birds' shown

Right click on the Title Bar and
select COPY from the options
STEP 32

Right click on the Title Bar
of your 'working' image and select
PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>>
DROP SHADOW
Same settings

Reposition with your MOVER tool

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN

STEP 33

ACTIVATE the
bgd layer

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Select your TEXT TOOL
with font and settings of your choice
add your name to the bottom of the layer.


LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN

*** I forgot to add this instruction when creating the tut
so the 'name' won't appear in the following
example images BUT it is on the final result

STEP 34

OK... we're ready to animate

Set up your LATER PALETTE like this...

...

Right click on Title Bar and select
Copy merged from the options


In ANIMATION SHOP

Right click the workspace and select
'Paste As New Animation' from the options.



STEP 35

Back to PSP.

OPEN the
leaf 1 layer

Right click on Title Bar and select
Copy merged from the options


In ANIMATION SHOP


Right click top of frame image and select
'Paste After Current Frame'
from the options.


STEP 36

Back to PSP

OPEN the
leaf 2 layer

Right click on Title Bar and select
Copy merged from the options


In ANIMATION SHOP


Right click top of frame image and select
'Paste After Current Frame'
from the options.


STEP 37

Continue in this manner, opening the leaf layers 3 to 9 one at a time in PSP,

then "Copy Merged"

and in
ANIMATION SHOP

Right click top of frame image and select
'Paste After Current Frame'
from the options.

Until all the leaf layers are in your animation frames.

You should have 10 frames so far



STEP 38

Back to PSP.


EMPTY YOUR CLIPBOARD

OPEN the
rosebud 1 layer

Right click on Title Bar and select
Copy merged from the options


In ANIMATION SHOP


Right click top of frame image and select
'Paste After Current Frame'
from the options.

STEP 39


Back to PSP.


OPEN the
rosebud 2 layer

Right click on Title Bar and select
Copy merged from the options


In ANIMATION SHOP


Right click top of frame image and select
'Paste After Current Frame'
from the options.

STEP

Back to PSP.


OPEN the
daisy 1 layer

Right click on Title Bar and select
Copy merged from the options


In ANIMATION SHOP


Right click top of frame image and select
'Paste After Current Frame'
from the options.

Continue in this manner, opening the
daisy layers 2 to 4 one at a time in PSP,

then "Copy Merged"

and in
ANIMATION SHOP

Right click top of frame image and select
'Paste After Current Frame'
from the options.

Until all the leaf layers are in your animation frames.

You should have 16 frames
in total


STEP 41

On the top menu in Animation Shop

Edit >> Select All

Right click on Title Bar of frames
Select 'Frame Properties' from the options
Display time =
50

Click inside the last fra
me (F:16)

Right click on Title Bar of frames
Select 'Frame Properties' from the options
Display time =
120

STEP 42

View >> Animation
and while it is still running,
File >> Save As

Locate the folder in which you wish to save it.

Name your animation.

With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT
until you get to the last one... click FINISH

Close the Animation
Close the frames.
Close Animation Shop
