STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 700 Transparent background RASTER BACKGROUND PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel PSPX3: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Flood fill with GREEN #4e7763 Rename this layer bgd
STEP 2 Open up the aircm~xmascutey2 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
STEP 3 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> MuRa's Meister >>> Copies >>> Encircle Rename this layer snowmen
STEP 4 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
STEP 5 Open up the Vix_WordartforTutDec09set2 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE Rename this layer text
STEP 6 Open up the poinsettawhite image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Rename this layer flower
STEP 7 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with RED #e41624 SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with WHITE #ffffff SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with RED #e41624 SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 4 EDIT >>> CLEAR SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
STEP 8 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL Same settings EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Use the same settings Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 3 Click OK DESELECT
STEP 9 LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN Rename this layer frame
STEP 10 LAYERS >> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT TOOL with font and settings of your choice add your name to the bottom left corner of the layer. Rename this layer name.
STEP 11 IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85% Ensure "Resize all layers" is CHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ACTIVATE the frame layer ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN ACTIVATE the flower layer EDIT >>> Repeat Sharpen ACTIVATE the snowmen layer EDIT >>> Repeat Sharpen
STEP 12 Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown
STEP 13 Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Depress your CTRL key and press the letter L (Upper Case) 10 times so you have 11 frames
STEP 14 Back to PSP. Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown
STEP 15 Right click on Title Bar and select Copy from the options In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Effects >> Insert Image Effect >>> Rotate. Click on the CUSTOMIZE button first Enter these settings Click OK Then enter these settings Click OK
STEP 16 Back to PSP. EDIT >>> Empty Clipboard Set up LAYER PALETTE as shown
STEP 17 Right click on Title Bar and select Copy merged from the options In ANIMATION SHOP Right click the workspace and select 'Paste As New Animation' from the options. Depress your CTRL key and press the letter L (Upper Case) 10 times so you have 11 frames
STEP 18 ACTIVATE the Snowmen frames Edit >> Select All Edit >> Copy Edit >> Propagate Paste ACTIVATE the Green background frames Edit >> Select All Edit >> Paste into selected frame ZOOM in on the first frame (F:1) and place the image as shown then release your mouse button
STEP 19 ACTIVATE the flower and text frames Edit >> Select All Edit >> Copy Edit >> Propagate Paste ACTIVATE the Green background frames Edit >> Paste into selected frame ZOOM in on the first frame (F:1) and place the image as shown then release your mouse button
STEP 20 Animation >> Cull Animation
STEP 21 Animation >> Resize animation Select width and height in pixels Click OK
STEP 22 View >> Animation and while it is still running, File >> Save As Locate the folder in which you wish to save it. Name your animation. With the Gif Optimiser keep pressing NEXT until you get to the last one... click FINISH Close the Animation Close the frames. Close Animation Shop
