You will need the following to complete this tutorial

Materials

psp15262-SCBromley-PastelSwirlsEaster.pspimage
GBP Bucket of Eggs KMG~~.psp
MJB_sleeping-beauties.psp
v_sky9_clouds.tub
Save to a folder on your computer

teom_aqua-colors.jgd
Save to your PSP Gradients folder
PSP8: C:\Program Files\Jasc Software\Paint Shop Pro 8\Gradients
PSP9: C:\Program Files\Jasc Software\Paint Shop Pro 9\Gradients
PSPX: C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Paint Shop Pro X\Gradients
PSPXI / X2: C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2\Corel_06
PSPX3: C:\Program Files\Corel\X3\PSPClassic\Corel_06

Inspiration.ttf
Save to your WINDOWS >>> FONTS folder
or
to a folder where you store your extra fonts.

Open a new image 640 x 480
Transparent background
PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
PSPX3: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel

Flood fill with BLUE #b9d3f0

Open up the psp15262-SCBromley-PastelSwirlsEaster image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options.

IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED

PSPX - PSPX3: IMAGE >>> FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 90
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED

Reposition with your MOVER tool

DESELECT




EFFECTS >>> ARTISTIC EFFECTS >>> ENAMEL





LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Flood fill with BLUE

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

ACTIVATE RASTER 1

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL

Open up the v_sky9_clouds image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.

DESELECT

In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L)



LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

ACTIVATE RASTER 1

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 10
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9 - X3: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX - X3: There is no " Sample Merged"
PSPX - X3: Use all layers = UNChecked

Select the area indicated below



EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

ACTIVATE RASTER 3

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SOFT PLASTIC
COLOUR = #c5c5c5





ACTIVATE RASTER 1

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to DISSOLVE

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

ACTIVATE RASTER 1

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9 - X3: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX - X3: There is no " Sample Merged"
PSPX - X3: Use all layers = UNChecked

Select the area indicated below



SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 16

EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT



Open up the psp15262-SCBromley-PastelSwirlsEaster image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Reposition with your MOVER tool



EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW



Open up the GBP Bucket of Eggs KMG~~ image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 30%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

Reposition with your MOVER tool



EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
Same settings

Open up the MJB_sleeping-beauties image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 65%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

Reposition with your MOVER tool



EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
Same settings

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

In your MATERIALS PALETTE load
teom_aqua-color gradient in the foreground using these settings



Load BLUE " #dfe7f4" in your background

NOTE
PSPX - PSPX3
Use these settings for size & Units




Select your TEXT tool
Locate font "Inspiration"



Type" Easter " in the text box

Click APPLY

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = WHITE
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW



DESELECT

Reposition with your MOVER tool



LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER


Select your TEXT tool ... same settings

Type" Blessings " in the text box

Click APPLY

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = WHITE
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
same settings

DESELECT

Reposition with your MOVER tool



LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)

Save as .jpg image
