Materials
bgd885.jpg
CherSwitz~LH_SWANS.psp
vsc_LH_SWANS.psp
Save to a folder on your computer
patt050th.jpg
patt350th.jpg
Save to your PSP Patterns folder
PSP8: C:\Program Files\Jasc Software\Paint Shop Pro 8\Patterns
PSP9: C:\Program Files\Jasc Software\Paint Shop Pro 9\Patterns
PSPX: C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Paint Shop Pro X\Patterns
PSPXI / X2: C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2\Corel_08
Plugins
none

In your MATERIALS PALETTE load
patt050th pattern in the foreground and
patt350th pattern in the background using these settings
.
Open a new image 600 x 480
Transparent background
PSPX - X2: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
Flood fill with foreground pattern
EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> DILATE
EDIT >>> Repeat Dilate (8 times)
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with background pattern
EFFECTS>>> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS >>> CIRCLE
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE
EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE MORE
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 44%
Change the BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L)
Reposition with your MOVER tool
Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION
symbol
and enter these coordinates.
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
Open up the bgd885 image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.
ADJUST >>> HUE & SATURATION >>> COLORIZE
DESELECT
ACTIVATE RASTER 2
Open up the vsc_LH_SWANS image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
Reposition with your MOVER tool
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Open up the CherSwitz~LH_SWANS image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
IMAGE >>> MIRROR
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 70%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE
ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE
Reposition with your MOVER tool
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE again
ACTIVATE RASTER 3
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Brown #685e5e
Opacity = 85
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
BORDER 1
ACTIVATE the TOP layer
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with #cbb59e
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3
EDIT >>> CLEAR
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Brown #685e5e
Opacity = 85
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
BORDER 2
Flood fill with #ffdfd7
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3
EDIT >>> CLEAR
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Brown #685e5e
Opacity = 85
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
