Open up the yellow25 image in your PSP workspace
WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE
Close the original Image
LAYERS >>> Promote background layer
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 8
EDIT >>> CUT
Right click in your workspace and
select PASTE AS NEW IMAGE from the options...
and minimise.
We will use this as a pattern later in the tutorial.
Back to your frame image...
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Blue #374351
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
DESELECT
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 97%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Blue #374351
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 97%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> CLARIFY
Strength of effect = 5
PSPX - PSPXII: Strength of effect = 5.0
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE
ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> CLARIFY
Strength of effect = 5
PSPX - PSPXII: Strength of effect = 5.0
EDIT - Repeat Clarify
ACTIVATE THE MERGED LAYER
EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> GLASS
ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> CLARIFY
Strength of effect = 5
PSPX - PSPXII: Strength of effect = 5.0
ACTIVATE the Copy of Merged layer
ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> CLARIFY
Strength of effect = 5
PSPX - PSPXII: Strength of effect = 5.0
With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9 - X2: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX - X2: There is no " Sample Merged"
PSPX - X2: Use all layers = UNChecked
Select the transparent area between the borders
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 2
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> SEND TO BOTTOM
Flood fill with YELLOW #ecec33
DESELECT
ACTIVATE THE MERGED LAYER
With your MAGIC WAND... Same settings
Select the CENTRE transparent area
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Blue #374351
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
DESELECT
ACTIVATE the Copy of Merged layer
With your MAGIC WAND... Same settings
Select the area outside the centre frame
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Blue #374351
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
Same settings
DESELECT
ACTIVATE RASTER 1
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
EFFECTS>>> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS >>> PERSPECTIVE-HORIZONTAL
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
IMAGE >>> MIRROR
Close Raster 1, Merged and Copy of Merged layers
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
Rename this layer "Merged 2"
With your MAGIC WAND... Same settings
Select the CENTRE transparent area
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
In your MATERIALS PALETTE load
the pattern you 'minimised' at the beginning of the tutorial..
.... in the background using these settings

Flood fill the selected area with the pattern
EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> CLARIFY
Strength of effect = 5
Open ALL layers
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Colour = Blue #374351
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Colour = Blue #374351
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
Save as .psp image
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
Flood fill with WHITE
EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE
Open up the hannietube_misted_87n4hcko_05_2007 image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE
Same settings
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Open up the JF_Flora13 image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE
ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
Reposition with your MOVER tool
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> BRING TO TOP
Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Point to Point
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = Checked
Select the area shown below
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> PERSPECTIVE SHADOW
ACTIVATE THE MERGED LAYER

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)
