Open up the BC_bgd image in your PSP workspace
WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE
Close the original Image
LAYERS >>> Promote Background Layer
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 20
EDIT >>> CUT
Right click in your PSP workspace
and select PASTE AS NEW IMAGE from the options.
IMAGE >>> FLIP
Go back to your first image (Frame image)
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
TIP: When adding a new layer if you hold down the SHIFT key while you click on the New Raster Layer
or click on the New Raster Layer icon just under Layer in the Layer Palette you will get the new layer .
Right click on the Title Bar of the NEW IMAGE you created and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 20
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings
ACTIVATE RASTER 1
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> BRING TO TOP
In your MATERIALS PALETTE load
goldfill1 pattern in the foreground and use these settings
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
Flood fill with gold pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION
symbol
and enter these coordinates.
ZOOM in and flood fill with gold pattern.
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol
and enter these coordinates.
ZOOM in and flood fill with gold pattern.
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
ACTIVATE RASTER 2
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> FLOAT
SELECTIONS >>> DEFLOAT
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Flood fill with gold pattern.
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1
With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9 - X3: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX - X3: There is no " Sample Merged"
PSPX - X3: Use all layers = UNChecked
and while depressing your SHIFT KEY...
Select the CENTRE transparent areas
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with gold pattern.
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
IMAGE >>> FLIP
This is your frame.
Save as .psp image

Load BLUE " #91afd0" in your background
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
Flood fill with BLUE
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
Open up the Misted_Snow_Covered_Trees_RM image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.
EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> FUR
DESELECT
Right click on the Title Bar of the Misted_Snow_Covered_Trees_RM image
and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
Open up the cdw-Forgotten_Twilight image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 50%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

Reposition with your MOVER tool to the left bottom of frame
Open up the cccfatherchristmasbluessm image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
IMAGE >>> MIRROR
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 50%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE
.
Reposition with your MOVER tool to the right bottom of frame
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
Open up the MH_Card_17_C_LDM image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 25%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings
ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE
Reposition with your MOVER tool to the top centre of your frame.
Open up the xmas162 image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
IMAGE >>> FLIP
Reposition with your MOVER tool to the top centre of your frame.
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0
Open up the xmas161 image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0
Reposition with your MOVER tool to the top left of your frame.
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
IMAGE >>> MIRROR
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
In your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load WHITE in your background
Select your TEXT tool using these settings
PSPX3: Use the LoversQuarrelROB.ttf
PSPX3 TIP: PSPX3 has a very different way of adding text
However if you hold down the shift key when
clicking on the A (Text Tool) the box will show up as other versions
otherwise type the text and then click on the apply changes
(green button in the tools options next to presets)
Type " Joyeux Noel " or your preferred message.
Click APPLY
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0
DESELECT
Reposition with your MOVER tool to bottom of your frame.
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)
Save as .jpg image
