Flood fill with the foreground pattern

SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 20
EDIT >>> CLEAR

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL



SELECTIONS >>> INVERT




LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Flood fill with Background pattern

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 10
EDIT >>> CLEAR
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT NONE

EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL

ACTIVATE RASTER 1

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 93%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE



LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

EFFECTS >>> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS >>> CYLINDER - VERTICAL



EFFECTS >>> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS >>> CIRCLE





LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = LEFT 90
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED

CLOSE the MERGED layer

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

RENAME this layer "Merged 2"

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> SEND TO BOTTOM

OPEN the MERGED layer



With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9/X/XI/X2: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX/XI/X2: There is no " Sample Merged"

PSPX/XI/X2: Use all layers = UNChecked


Click in the bottom left transparent area

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 3

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE

and while depressing your SHIFT KEY...

Select the transparent areas shown
(The 4 crescent shapes and the centre of the image)

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW



EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 315

SELECTIONS >>> SELECT NONE



ACTIVATE THE MERGED LAYER

With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings.

Select the CENTRE transparent area

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 3
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
Same settings

EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135

SELECTIONS >>> SELECT NONE



LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

Save as .psp image


LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

Open up the
At_the_Helm_misted_na_06[1].01.2007 image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Same settings



ACTIVATE THE MERGED LAYER

Open up the
pjw-gulls-t-ty-67784-8-9 image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options


IMAGE >>> MIRROR

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 78%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
.. change DIRECTION to 315


Reposition with your MOVER tool



LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)

Save as .jpg image
