INSTALLING ULEAD PLUGINS in Windows VISTA

If your PAINT SHOP PRO program is open... CLOSE IT

Have all your DLL files installed as in previous tutorials

Download:
UleadArtTexture.zip
UleadFantasyWarp.zip
UleadParticle.zip
Save to a folder on your computer...(I saved them to my desktop)

Open up the folder in which you saved the
UleadArtTexture.zip
UleadFantasyWarp.zip
UleadParticle.zip

Right click on the UleadParticle.zip file.
Select Extract Files from the options

: - You will notice that it says "Destination path (will be created if does not exist) "
Ignore the path indicated here... I am working from a laptop and desktop computer to create this tutorial.
You will have something different.

2: - You need to change this by clicking on your C:\ Drive in the large window

Scroll down until you find your "My PSP Files \Plugins" folder an click on it once to highlight it.
Click "OK"

You will see an "Extracting from Ulead..." image flash on your screen and disappear.

Go to your C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\My PSP Files\Plugins

Open the UleadParticle folder
Double click on the Pp10f.exe file

Message: This will install Ulead Particle.Plugin 1.0 Full Version. Do you wish to continue?
Click YES

Click FINISH

The SETUP window will show
Click NEXT

SOFTWARE LICENCE AGREEMENT:..... Click YES

USER INFORMATION: NAME = YOUR NAME / COMPANY = "HOME or None">>>> Click NEXT

CHOOSE DESTINATION LOCATION: (See below).. Leave as "C:\Program Files\Ulead Particle Plugin"
Click NEXT

SPECIFY THE PLUG-IN FOLDER OF ADOBE PHOTOSHOP COMPATIBLE PROGRAM

Click the BROWSE button

CHOOSE FOLDER
DOUBLE Click on the c:\ folder
See next instruction

Scroll down to PROGRAM FILES (X86) folder.... Double click
Scroll down to Corel folder ... Double click
Scroll down to the Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo x2 folder .... Double click
(this should be the 1st folder after you open the Corel folder )
Scroll down to the Language folder .... Double click
Scroll down to Plug in folder that you created earlier.....Double click
Scroll down to the Folder with the name of your Plug in that you created earlier...
Click once then Click OK

The README file will open AS WELL AS the
C:\WINDOWS\Profiles\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Ulead Web Utilities\Ulead Particle.Plugin folder
You can close both.

If this is the first plugin you have put into the Corel folder you may need to....
Link your Plugins folder to Paint Shop Pro
Open up your PSP program
On your top menu...Click on :- FILE >>> PREFERENCES >>> FILE LOCATIONS

1:- Scroll down and locate "Plugins"
2:- Click on the "ADD" button and browse through your folders to locate your PSP Plugins folder. Click "OK"
Once it is located it will show up in the window.
3:- Check "Enable plug-ins" in the "Plug-in file folders" options
4:- Check "Limit loaded plug-in files...." in the "Plug-in file folders" options
5:- Check "Enable" in the "Folder options"
6:- Check "Use sub folders" in the "Folder options"
7:- Click "OK"

Open up an image in your PSP workspace so we can check if the plugin is available .. any image will do.
On your top menu click on EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> Ulead Effects >>>Particle

Your new plugin should be available for you to use.

Use the same instructions to install your Ulead Art Texture and Ulead Fa
ntasy Warp plugins
and any other plugin that must be in the Corel Plugins folder .
