You will need the following to complete this tutorial

Materials
RIGHT CLICK >>> SAVE TARGET AS

ivy_texture01.bmp
Save to your PSP Textures folder

TanString.PspTube (You may have this already)
Save to your PSP Tubes folder

Open a new image 600 x 250
Transparent background
PSPX: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel

Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol



Flood fill with " #e397f9 "

DESELECT



EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE
COLOUR = " #c0c0c0 "






EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> WAVE







Save as .psp image

Open a new image 600 x 250
Transparent background
PSPX: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel

Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol



Flood fill with " #f9ea97"

DESELECT




In your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load SOLID ' #bfa30b ' in your background

Select your TEXT tool (ARIAL font)



Enter "x space " 19 times



Reposition with your MOVER tool to centre the "X's" on the ribbon

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 80
Blur = 0

DESELECT




EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> WAVE







Save as .psp image

USING THE "TANSTRING" TUBE

Open a new image 600 x 250
Transparent background
PSPX: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel

VIEW >>> GRID

VIEW >>> GRID, GUIDE & SNAP PROPERTIES



VIEW >>> SNAP TO GRID




Select your TUBE tool (TANSTRING)



Use these settings



Carefully drag your cursor along one of the horizontal lines



EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE MORE

VIEW >>> GRID

EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> WAVE







Save as .psp image

You can also use any PATTERNS you have to create ribbons


Open a new image 600 x 250
Transparent background
PSPX: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel


Choose your SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Rectangle
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = Checked

Create a rectangle any size

Flood fill with a pattern of your choice



DESELECT

EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> WAVE

Save as .psp image
