This was created using PSP9 but can be adapted for other versions of PSP.

You will need the following to complete this tutorial

Materials
RIGHT CLICK >>> SAVE TARGET AS
JF_TagPaper_FoldedCorner.psp
JF_TagPaper_CurlededSide.psp
Save to a folder on your computer

FoldedPaperPatterns.zip
( 'Canvas' patterns 1 to 12 are included in zip file )
Download & extract to your PSP Patterns folder

FOLDED CORNER


Open the JF_TagPaper_FoldedCorner.psp in your PSP workspace
WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE
Close the original image.

In your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load the ' canvas10 ' pattern in your foreground
using the settings below.



ACTIVATE Raster 1
CLOSE Raster 2 & 3

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 10
Feather = 1
Antialias = Checked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9/X: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX: There is no " Sample Merged"
PSPX: Use all layers = UNChecked
PSP9/X: ANTIALIAS =Outside

Select the grey area.

Flood fill with the canvas pattern

ADJUST >>> HUE & SATURATION >>> COLORIZE
Hue = 18
Saturation = 172

DESELECT



OPEN & Activate Raster 2

With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings

Select the grey area.

In your MATERIALS PALETTE
Change the angle of the pattern to 325



Flood fill the selected area.

ADJUST >>> HUE & SATURATION >>> COLORIZE
Same settings.

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL



DESELECT

ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST >>> BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST
BRIGHTNESS = - (MINUS) 20
CONTRAST = 20



OPEN & Activate Raster 3

With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings

Select the grey area.

In your MATERIALS PALETTE
Change the angle of the pattern to 345

Flood fill the selected area.

ADJUST >>> HUE & SATURATION >>> COLORIZE
Same settings.

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Change AMBIENCE to 30

DESELECT



ACTIVATE Raster 2

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW




..

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

Save as .psp image
