This was created using PSP9 but can be adapted for other versions of PSP.

You will need the following to complete this tutorial

Materials
LEFT CLICK >>> SAVE

JF_108.psp
Tin@-6705874_phM.psp
Beailieu 8-28-06~Gold700.psp
Image25Sweet Pea 4_LR.psp
JB_baby_robin.psp
Save to a folder on your computer

Plugins

Open all your images in PSP and minimize.

Maximize " JF_108.psp "

WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE
Close the original Image

Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol

EFFECTS >>> ARTISTIC EFFECTS >>> HALFTONE

DESELECT

ACTIVATE the BACKGROUND layer

Still using the SELECTION TOOL, click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol

EFFECTS >>> ARTISTIC EFFECTS >>> HALFTONE
Same settings
CHANGE THE OPACITY TO 80%

DESELECT

ACTIVATE the TUBE layer

Maximize the Tin@-6705874_phM.psp image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED

In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 62%
Change the BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L)

EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE

Maximize the ©©Beailieu 8-28-06~Gold700.psp image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Reposition with your MOVER tool

In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 28%
Change the BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L)

In your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load PALE ORANGE " #f2c0a7" in your foreground
Load RED/ORANGE" #e06f70" in your background

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol

Flood fill with RED/ORANGE" #e06f70"

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 60
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9/X: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX: There is no " Sample Merged"
PSPX: Use all layers = UNChecked

Select the area OUTSIDE the border

In your MATERIALS PALETTE... click on the GRADIENT option in your foreground palette

Flood fill with the GRADIENT

EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE MORE

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 4

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EDIT >>> CLEAR
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Use the same settings
Click OK

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to 1
Click OK
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND ... same settings... Select the area INSIDE the border

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 3

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW

DESELECT

CLOSE ALL LAYERS EXCEPT RASTER 3 AND 4
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

OPEN ALL LAYERS

ACTIVATE RASTER 2

Right click on the Title Bar of the ©©Beailieu 8-28-06~Gold700.psp image
and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> MIRROR

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED

Reposition with your MOVER tool

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
Same settings

ACTIVATE the MERGED layer

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 65%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED

Reposition with your MOVER tool

Choose your SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Rectangle
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = Checked

Select the area shown below ...

EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

Maximize the JB_baby_robin.psp image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar of the image
and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 35%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
Same settings

Reposition with your MOVER tool

Maximize the Image25Sweet Pea 4_LR.psp image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar of the image
and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 70%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
COLOUR = " #ffedcf "

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
Same settings

Reposition with your MOVER tool

ACTIVATE the BACKGROUND layer

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE

ACTIVATE RASTER 2

EFFECTS >>> ARTISTIC EFFECTS >>> HALFTONE

ACTIVATE the BACKGROUND layer

SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 15
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> FEATHER = 20

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EDIT >>> CLEAR

ACTIVATE the TUBE layer
EDIT >>> CLEAR

ACTIVATE RASTER 2
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
This is your background layer... colour it to match your web page or stationery.

Save as .psp image

Once you complete the background...

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)

Save as .jpg image
