You will need the following to complete this tutorial

Open ALL your images in PSP and minimize

Open a new image 600 x 450
Transparent background
PSPX: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel

Flood fill with BLUE "
#24458d "

SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Open up the
sky_095-1024.jpg image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.

DESELECT

In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE


Open up the
mistedmoon2TM.pspimage image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Reposition with your MOVER tool




Open up the
misted_releaseme-foxleap.psp image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Reposition with your MOVER tool

In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 38%
Change the BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L)



Open up the
PJW_NA_LADY_66_409_tnt.psp image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> PERSPECTIVE SHADOW



Reposition with your MOVER tool



LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN



EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
COLOUR = "
#455b8e "
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

Flood fill with "
#82a0de "

ACTIVATE THE MERGED LAYER

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9/X: Check CONTIGUOUS
PSPX: There is no " Sample Merged"

PSPX: Use all layers = UNChecked


Select the area surrounding the merged image



LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Flood fill with "
#82a0de "

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> FINE LEATHER



EDIT >>> Repeat FINE LEATHER

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT



LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW



EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
Change DIRECTION to 315

DESELECT




Open up the
NA01_AS.psp image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Reposition with your MOVER tool




In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 68%
Change the BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L)

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol







Flood fill with WHITE

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS
COLOUR = "
#cadeeb "



EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE MORE

In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 60%
Change the BLEND MODE to SCREEN

Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol





EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol

EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings.. Select the area shown



LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
COLOUR = "
#455b8e " (Same as before)
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT

ACTIVATE RASTER 5

With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings.. Select the area shown




LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets =

COLOUR = "
#455b8e " (Same as before)
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus )

Click OK

DESELECT




Open up the
NA_dividers.tub image in your PSP workspace
Activate Raster 1

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Reposition with your MOVER tool




LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

IMAGE >>> MIRROR

Reposition with your MOVER tool




Open up the
K5DREAMCATCHER026.TUB image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED

Reposition with your MOVER tool




Open up the
feather4.tub image in your PSP workspace

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 40%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN MORE

Reposition with your MOVER tool



Save as .psp image
(Incase you wish to change something later)

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)
Save as .jpg image
