You will need the
following to complete this tutorial

LEFT CLICK >>> SAVE
JF_eyes_glasses.jpg
JF_REFLECT.psp
JF_A11.psp
JF_A11cnr.psp
Save to a folder on your computer
t137.gif
Save to your PSP Textures folder
b1.jpg
Save to your PSP Patterns folder
Plugins

Open ALL your images in PSP and minimize
In your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load the ' b1.jpg ' pattern in your foreground
using the settings below.
Load SOLID PINK " #f1ddcb " in your background
Open a new image 600 x 450
Transparent background
PSPX: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
Flood fill with PINK " #f1ddcb "
Open up the JF_A11.psp image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> FLOAT
SELECTIONS >>> DEFLOAT
Select your AIRBRUSH tool
Airbrush the selected area with the foreground pattern
DESELECT
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = DARK GREY " #404040 "
Opacity = 60
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
CLOSE RASTER 1
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
OPEN RASTER 1
EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
ACTIVATE RASTER 1
Open up the JF_eyes_glasses.jpg image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
Select your DEFORMATION tool
Mode = SCALE
use default settings
PSPX/XI/XII:Select your PICK tool
Drag the centre top, bottom and side nodes inwards to reduce the image size,
then use the centre node to reposition as shown below.
Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow
In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 40%
Open up the JF_REFLECT.psp image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
Reposition with your MOVER tool
In your LAYER PALETTE change the BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L)
ACTIVATE THE MERGED LAYER
Choose your FREEHAND SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Point to Point
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = Checked
Section off the area shown |

EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT |

ACTIVATE RASTER 2
Go back to the JF_REFLECT.psp image
Choose your SELECTION TOOL...
Selection Type = Rectangle
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = Checked
Section off the eyes |

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
IMAGE >>> MIRROR
Reposition with your MOVER tool (see below)
Select your DEFORMATION tool ...same settings
PSPX/XI/XII:Select your PICK tool
Drag the centre top, bottom and side nodes until the image fits the box shown below
Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow

Go back to the JF_REFLECT.psp image
Choose your SELECTION TOOL... same settings
Section off the face |

and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 2
Colour = WHITE
Opacity = 60
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 2
Click OK
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = BLACK
Opacity = 85
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
Flood fill with PINK
EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE
EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE
ACTIVATE THE MERGED LAYER
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Open up the JF_A11cnr.psp image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options.

OPEN RASTER 1 and the MERGED layers
