This was created using PSP9 but can be adapted for other versions of PSP.
You will need the
following to complete this tutorial
Materials
LEFT CLICK >>> SAVE
Oriental92.jpg
mh_vase.pspimage
Save to a folder on your computer
gold mosacia.jpg
Graphic 04.pspimage
Save to your PSP Patterns folder
Mandarin.ttf
Save to your WINDOWS >>> FONTS folder
or
to a folder where you store your extra fonts.

Open your images in PSP and minimize
Open a new image 600 x 450
Transparent background
PSPX: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
Flood fill with " #c1a573 "
Open up the Oriental92.jpg image in your PSP workspace..
Choose your SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Rectangle
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Draw a rectangle around the head of the oriental lady
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 85%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
IMAGE >>> MIRROR
Select your DEFORMATION tool
Mode = SCALE
use default settings
Use the centre node to move the image to the left
and
the side nodes indicated to make the image narrower
as in this image, shown at 100%.
Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Choose your SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Rectangle
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNChecked
Draw a rectangle over the top of the first image... as shown
Flood fill with WHITE
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 30
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 65
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 35%
Activate the Oriental92.jpg image again
If the marching ants are still showing... DESELECT
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 25%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Reposition with your MOVER tool
ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Choose your SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Rectangle
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNChecked
Draw a rectangle over the top of the image... as shown
Flood fill with WHITE
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 20
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 65
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 35%
ACTIVATE RASTER 4
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE UP
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
Reposition with your MOVER tool
ACTIVATE RASTER 5
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE UP
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
Reposition with your MOVER tool
ACTIVATE " COPY OF RASTER 4 "
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE UP
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
Reposition with your MOVER tool
ACTIVATE " COPY OF RASTER 5 "
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE UP
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 80%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
Reposition with your MOVER tool
Choose your SELECTION TOOL
Same settings
Draw a rectangle as shown below..
ACTIVATE RASTER 1
EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE
COLOUR = " #c1a573 "
DESELECT
Open up the mh_vase.pspimage image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
Select your DEFORMATION tool
Mode = SCALE
use default settings
Drag the centre top node UP to make the vase look taller.
Click the RESET RECTANGLE arrow
EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> PERSPECTIVE SHADOW

Select your TEXT tool
(Doesn't matter what colour)
Enter the text of your choice...
I chose "MandarinD"
Click 'Apply '
EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE
ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
DESELECT
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)
Save as .jpg image
