This was created using PSP9 but can be adapted for other versions of PSP.
You will need the following to complete this tutorial
Materials
LEFT CLICK >>> SAVE
JF_man4.psp
JF_TemplateV7.psp
JF_Furn2.psp
Kirsty07_Tube_Beauty_325.psp
Twigs&Leaves_TubedByGini_06-01-06.tub
Save to a folder on your computer
Tile3-original.bmp
noname15.jpg
Save to your PSP Patterns folder

Open your images in PSP and minimize
Open a new image 600 x 450
Transparent background
PSPX: Colour Depth = 8bits/channel
Flood fill with BLACK
Open up the JF_man4.psp image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your new tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
IMAGE >>> MIRROR
Reposition with your MOVER tool to the top right corner
In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 60%
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol
Flood fill with WHITE
EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE
COLOUR = " #dfd3cb "
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = LEFT 90
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED
Reposition with your MOVER tool
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol
Flood fill with WHITE
EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE
COLOUR = " #dfd3cb "
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 75%
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> FREE ROTATE = LEFT 90
Ensure "All layers" is UNCHECKED
In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 100%
Reposition with your MOVER tool
Choose your SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Rectangle
Mode = Replace
Feather = 0
Antialias = Checked
Select the area shown below
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
Open up the JF_TemplateV7.psp image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your new tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
Choose your SELECTION TOOL ... same settings
Draw a rectangle outside the template
Click inside the marching ants to select the template
In your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load WHITE " #ffffff" in your foreground
Load PINK" #f2c5a4" in your background
PSP8 - PSPXII: Then click on the GRADIENT option in your Background palette
PSP8 - PSPXI: Then left click in the background palette box and select the
Foreground-background gradient.
PSPXII: Then left click in the background palette box and select the
Foreground-background gradient. (Corel-06-029) and use above settings.
Flood fill the selected area with the gradient
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
COLOUR = " #f2c5a4 "
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 25
Flood fill with the gradient
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
Open up the JF_Furn2.psp image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your new tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 70%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Reposition with your MOVER tool to the bottom right corner
ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
Open up the Kirsty07_Tube_Beauty_325.psp image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your new tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 40%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Reposition with your MOVER tool
Open up the Twigs&Leaves_TubedByGini_06-01-06.tub image in your PSP workspace
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options
Right click on the Title Bar of your new tag image
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
IMAGE >>> MIRROR
IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 40%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
Reposition with your MOVER tool
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)
Save as .jpg image
