Extract to a folder on your computer.

HINT
In this tutorial you can use the colours I have used... or select your own.
ALSO when selecting with your MAGIC WAND... ZOOM in and
use your SHIFT key to pick up the stray pixels

Open a new image 425 x 300
Transparent background

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL

Open the Template tube
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Go to your frame image
Right click on the Title Bar
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.

Zoom in and with your MAGIC WAND select the Black border
....flood fill with BLACK so the colour is uniform.

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9 USERS: CHECK CONTIGUOUS

Select the areas shown below



EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL



EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> WEAVE
Weave Colour = ( #94B3E2 )
Gap Colour = ( #808080 )



EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND ... Select the areas shown below



EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS



EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
EDIT >>> REPEAT INNER BEVEL

Repeat both Drop Shadow effects

DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND ... Select the areas shown below
Tolerance = 3



Flood fill with white
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL



Repeat both Drop Shadow effects

DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND ... Select the areas shown below



Flood fill with ( #EF9C75 )

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
same settings

DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND ... Select the areas shown below



Flood fill with Gold

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
same settings EXCEPT change AMBIENCE to 30

DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND ... Select the areas shown below



EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS



EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings

DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND ... Select the outer transparent area PLUS
the two areas indicated below



Flood fill with ( #CB653F )
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings EXCEPT change AMBIENCE to 5
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND ... Select the areas shown below



Flood fill with ( #FCDEC4 )
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND ... Select the black outer border
Flood fill with gold

EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT

Save as a .psp image
Your frame is now ready for an image of your choice

This is another example using Patterns and Gradients instead.
