Transparent background

Flood fill with PINK ( #F8E6E6 )

SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 40
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Close Raster 1

SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 20
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EDIT >>> CLEAR

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9 USERS: CHECK CONTIGUOUS

select the pink border



EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS
Colour = ( #A26B68 )



ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL



With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the INNER transparent area

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 70
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 1
Flood fill with Gold Pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 1
EDIT >>> CLEAR
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Repeat both Drop Shadow effects
DESELECT



With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings
Select the OUTER transparent area

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with PINK

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings

EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> CURLICUES





SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with Gold Pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
EDIT >>> CLEAR
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Repeat both Drop Shadow effects
DESELECT



IMAGE >>> CANVAS SIZE



LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol



Flood fill with PINK
Close Raster 4
DESELECT

Activate Raster 2
With your MAGIC WAND
Select the OUTER transparent area
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Activate Raster 4
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
select the new pink border

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS



ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

DESELECT

Select the INNER transparent area

Repeat both Drop Shadow effects
DESELECT



Activate Raster 4
With your MAGIC WAND
Select the TOP and BOTTOM transparent areas
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with PINK



EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
same settings
EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> CURLICUES



ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
DESELECT



With your MAGIC WAND
Select the INNER transparent area

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE UP

Flood fill with Gold Pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
EDIT >>> CLEAR
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Repeat both Drop Shadow effects
DESELECT



LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EDIT >>> CLEAR

Flood fill with Gold Pattern
Repeat both Drop Shadow effects
DESELECT

Open Raster 1
Save as a .psp image

Your frame is now ready to insert an image of your choice
Once you add your image and merge all layers
ADD a dark 1 pixel border arouns the frame
