You will need the following to complete this tutorial

Materials: HERE

Extract "Line art lavender.pspimage" to your PSP PATTERNS folder
Extract the tubes to a folder on your computer

You will also need
** EYE CANDY3 **

Open a new image 425 x 400
Transparent background
Flood fill with Purple ( #b1b0d0 )

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> SCULPTURE
Pattern = "Line art lavender"



EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE

Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol



EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

Click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol





SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> POLAR COORDINATES



IMAGE >>> MIRROR



EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL



EDIT >>> COPY
EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW



DESELECT

EDIT >>> PASTE AS NEW LAYER

Using your MOVER tool drag the top layer down slightly and to the left.



EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
same settings

EDIT >>> PASTE AS NEW LAYER
IMAGE >>> MIRROR
Using your MOVER tool drag the top to line up level with the left 'arch' .



EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
same settings

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Using your MOVER tool drag the top to match up level with the left 'arch'




On your LAYER PALETTE activate Raster 1
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
Flood fill with Purple

Activate Raster 1
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Open up the "tulipbutterflynmtinytube.psp" tube
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Go to your frame image
Right click on the Title Bar
and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED



EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
same settings
DESELECT

Activate Raster 2
With your FREEHAND SELECTION tool



Select the purple section shown below, overlapping the daisy petals.

EDIT >>> CLEAR >>>

Activate Raster 4 (The bottom layer)
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Open up the "CJ_Double misted Lady3.jpg" tube
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Go to your frame image
Right click on the Title Bar
and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 55%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED



You can leave the image as is... or do as I did and change the Blend Mode
on this layer ro LUMINANCE (Legacy)
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Flood fill with Purple

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL



EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW



DESELECT

Save as a .jpg file
