Materials: HERE

Extract the "wood095" to your PSP TEXTURES Folder
Extract all others to a folder on your computer

Flood fill with brown ( #A18279 )
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 40

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> ALIEN SKIN XENOFEX 2 >>> BURNT EDGES







DESELECT

Using your MAGIC WAND



Select the centre of the image including the shadowed area, using your SHIFT key.



EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE
Select "wood095"
Colour = ( #A77E53 )





EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Colour = ( #C2A88C )



EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW





IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN



Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol



LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Flood fill with "goldfill1"



SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 2
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT



Highlight Raster 1
With your MAGIC WAND select the outer transparent area
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with "goldfill1"
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 2
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

Select the new gold border with your MAGIC WAND

EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND select the outer transparent area
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with ( #BB8B72 )
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 4
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT


Select the new border with your MAGIC WAND
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL



DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND select the outer transparent area
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with "goldfill1"
DESELECT
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 9
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EDIT >>> CLEAR

EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

Flood fill with brown ( #BB8B72 )

DESELECT

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Flood fill with "goldfill1"
DESELECT



LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
Highlight the MERGED layer

With your MAGIC WAND
Select the INNER transparent area
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 3
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW



DESELECT



Highlight Raster 1

Open up the Gum Trees image
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Go to your frame image
Right click on the Title Bar
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 70%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED
LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

You could add your own embellishments here ... I'm going to add some gum leaves.
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Open up both Gum Leaves images
Copy and Paste them into the bottom left corner of the frame.
DESELECT



EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL



EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
Same settings

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)
Save as a .jpg file
