Right Click and SAVE AS
Extract " Chrispowderpuff.jgd" to your Gradients folder
Extract " goldfill1.bmp" to your Patterns folder

Open a new image 400 x 400
Transparent background

BORDER 1

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Load the "Chrispowderpuff" gradient in your foreground



Flood fill with the gradient

ADJUST >>> ADD/REMOVE NOISE >>> ADD NOISE
(This gets rid of the 'bands' in the gradient)



EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS



SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 40
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT


BORDER 2

LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 20
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EDIT >>> CLEAR

BACK TO BORDER 1

Activate Raster 2
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER SELECTIONS >>> INVERT Close "Copy of Raster 2"
Flood fill with Gold Pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 100 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK
Move "Copy of Raster 2" beneath "Raster 2"
Activate Raster 3 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = UNchecked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 USERS: CHECK CONTIGUOUS Select the centre transparent area
Activate Raster 2 EDIT >>> CLEAR Close Raster 1 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE DESELECT BORDER 2 Activate "Copy of Raster 2" With your MAGIC WAND Tolerance = 160 Select the INNER border

EFFECTS >>> DISTORTION EFFECTS >>> CURLIQUE



EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE



EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Select the transparent centre

Flood fill with Gold Pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
EDIT >>> CLEAR
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Repeat both drop shadows
DESELECT

On your LAYER PALETTE rename the layers as shown



BORDER 3

With your MAGIC WAND and Border 2 activated...
Select the transparent centre

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Rename this "Border 3"
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN


Flood fill with the gradient

EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS
Check HORIZONTAL

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 15
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Select the border

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
CHANGE AMBIENCE to - (MINUS) 5
Repeat both drop shadows
DESELECT



With your MAGIC WAND
Select the transparent centre

Flood fill with Gold Pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
EDIT >>> CLEAR
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Repeat both drop shadows
DESELECT

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

On your LAYER PALETTE

Highlight "Border 2" ... LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

EFFECTS >>> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS >>> SKEW




Highlight "Border 1" ... LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

EFFECTS >>> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS >>> SKEW
Same settings

Rearrange layers as shown below






LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE


SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EDIT >>> CLEAR

Flood fill with Gold Pattern
Repeat both drop shadows
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Select the transparent centre

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW



Repeat Drop Shadow changing DIRECTION to 135
DESELECT

Activate Raster 1
Flood fill with GREY ( #808080 ) or a colour of your choice.

Save your frame as a .psp image.

You can now add an image or a tube of your choice
then save as a .jpg image
