Download and extract to your PSP Plugins Folder

Colours Used
PINK = #F7CDCD
GREY = #B7ABB5

On your COLOUR PALETTE
Load your background and foreground colours
(AS SHOWN IN THE IMAGE ABOVE)

Go to your upper Styles box and click on the arrow.
Select the Pattern Icon




Load the "tuval1" pattern
SCALE = 100
ANGLE = 45




Go to your lower Styles box and click on the arrow.
Select the Pattern Icon

Load the "pink136" pattern
SCALE = 100
ANGLE = 45

Create a new image 350 x 430
Transparent background

Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Double click on your SELECTION TOOL
and enter these co-ordinates



Click OK
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Flood fill with the "tuval1" pattern

Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

Go to EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> MEHDI >>> KALEIDOSCOPE V1
Use these settings



Click OK

For those using KALEIDOSCOPE V2
Settings:
SPINNING EFFECT = MIRROR
PETALS = 8
ROTATE = 20
ZOOM OUT = 1.0

OFFSET
ANGLE = 20
HORIZONTAL -= 0
VERTICAL = 0

Click OK

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on Layer 2 to activate


Go to COLOURS >>> COLOURIZE
Use these settings



Click OK



DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED

Select the centre transparent area

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on "Copy of Layer2" to activate





On your COLOUR PALETTE
Change your background (lower) Styles box
to the SOLID GREY ( #B7ABB5)

Flood fill the transparent area with the SOLID GREY ( #B7ABB5 )

DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 10
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED

While holding down your SHIFT KEY
Select the blue areas of the border




Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on "Layer2" to activate

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL



Click OK

Go to EDIT >>> Repeat Inner Bevel
Go to EFFECTS >>> EDGE >>> ENHANCE

DESELECT

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on "Copy of Layer2" to activate

With your MAGIC WAND

Select the centre GREYarea of the image
Go to EDIT >>> CLEAR

DESELECT



Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Use the same settings

Go to EDIT >>> Repeat Inner Bevel

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Close Layer 1




Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE




With your MAGIC WAND
Select the centre transparent area of the image

Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill the transparent area with the SOLID GREY

Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>>CONTRACT = 3
Go to EDIT CLEAR

Go to SELECTIONS >>> SELECT NONE

With your MAGIC WAND

Select the GREY border

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT



Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE




With your MAGIC WAND
Select the centre transparent area of the image

Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill the transparent area with the SOLID GREY

Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>>CONTRACT = 9
Go to EDIT CLEAR

DESELECT

Go to your COLOUR PALETTE
Change your background back to the "pink136" pattern

With your MAGIC WAND
select the new GREY border
Flood fill the transparent area with the "pink136" pattern


Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Use the same settings

Go to EDIT >>> Repeat Inner Bevel

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 50
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT




On your COLOUR PALETTE
Change your background (lower) Styles box to the SOLID GREY

With your MAGIC WAND
Select the centre transparent area of the image

Flood fill the transparent area with the SOLID GREY

Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>>CONTRACT = 3
Go to EDIT CLEAR

DESELECT


With your MAGIC WAND
Select the GREY border

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 50
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT



Go to LAYERS >>>> MERGE VISIBLE

Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE




Go to SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 20
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to EDIT CLEAR
Go to SELECTIONS >>> SELECT NONE





With your MAGIC WAND
TOLERANCE = 100
Select all the borders as shown below.
DO NOT select the last Black section





Go to EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> MEHDI >>> KALEIDOSCOPE
Use the same settings as you used before
Click OK



Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Go to EDIT >>> Repeat Inner Bevel

Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE


DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Select the transparent area


Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill the transparent area with the "tuval1" pattern

Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 10
Go to EDIT CLEAR

DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Tolerance = 100

Select the "tuval1" pattern border

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Use the same settings

Go to EDIT >>> Repeat Inner Bevel

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 50
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT




Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE


Go to SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 1
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to EDIT CLEAR

Flood Fill with the SOLID GREY
You may have to ZOOM in to do this

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 50
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT





AT THIS POINT
Save your Frame as a .psp image
so that it can be used again.


Now we're ready to add our main image and/or decorations
