Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Open Raster 1 and click on it to activate
Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on the MERGED LAYER to activate





Maximise the "Susan" image

With your SELECTION TOOL
Set to = RECTANGLE
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked

Draw a rectangle as shown below
making sure you start at the top of the image.
(We need the plain area at the top otherwise you will
lose some of the head when we copy it into the frame.)



Right click on the Title Bar
and select COPY from the options


Activate your frame image
Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on the MERGED LAYER to activate

Go to your frame image
and with your MAGIC WAND
select the centre of the middle teardrop

Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND 3

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on Layer 2 to activate


Right click on the Title Bar
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.



DESELECT



Go back to your "Susan' image

With your SELECTION TOOL
Set to = RECTANGLE
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked

Draw a rectangle as shown below



Right click on the Title Bar
and select COPY from the options


Activate your frame image

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on the MERGED LAYER to activate


and with your MAGIC WAND
select the LEFT teardrop

Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND 3

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on Raster 2 to activate


Right click on the Title Bar
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.




DESELECT

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on the MERGED LAYER to activate


and with your MAGIC WAND
select the RIGHT teardrop

Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND 3

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on Raster 2 to activate


Right click on the Title Bar
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.

Go to IMAGE >>> MIRROR

DESELECT





Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on the MERGED LAYER to activate

and with your MAGIC WAND
while holding down your SHIFT KEY
select the centres of ALL 3 teardrops

Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND 1

Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 4
Colour = Black
Opacity = 60
Blur = 4.70

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 4
Click OK

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on Layer 2 to activate
Go to ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)


I added an extra border here just to finish off the image.


Go to IMAGE >>> ADD BORDERS = SYMMETRIC 2
COLOUR = WHITE

and with your MAGIC WAND
select the WHITE BORDER
Flood fill with the Gold fold

Go to ADJUST >>> HUE & SATURATION >>> COLOURIZE
Use the same settings

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT

Go to IMAGE >>> RESIZE
Resize to suit
(I use BICUBIC for the Resize Type)
Don't forget to make sure "Resize all layers" IS CHECKED.
