You will need the following to complete this tutorial

'D_Goldfold' & 'lace 6'patterns
Download and extract to your PSP Patterns folder.

The image "Susan" by Susan Moon
Download and extract to a folder on your computer.

The "A_tripleteardrop.msk"
Download and extract to your PSP Masks folder.

The "cornerX23" tube
Download and extract to a folder on your computer.

Simple Filters
Download and extract to your PSP Plugins Folder.

Create a new image 400X 400
transparent background

Flood fill with BLACK
Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER


Go to your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load the "D_gold fold" into your lower box
using the settings shown below
Load the "lace6" pattern into your upper box
using these settings for both
SCALE = 100
ANGLE = 0





Flood fill Raster 2 with the D_Gold fold pattern

Go to LAYERS >>> LOAD/SAVE MASK >>> LOAD MASK FROM DISK
Locate the "A_tripleteardrop.msk"
(It should be near the beginning of your masks somewhere)



Click LOAD

Go to LAYERS >>> Invert Mask/Adjustment





Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE GROUP


With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED

also while holding down your SHIFT KEY
select all 3 teardrops

Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 2
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to EDIT CLEAR
DESELECT


With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 150
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
while holding down your SHIFT KEY
Select each of the gold borders

Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 1

Select your AIRBRUSH TOOL
and using the following settings
SHAPE = +ROUND 50
SIZE = 55
HARDNESS = 100
STEP = 17
DENSITY = 100
THICKNESS = 100
ROTATION = 0
OPACITY = 100
BLEND MODE = NORMAL
RATE = 5

fill in the selected gold areas with the G_gold fold pattern






Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Use the following settings
COLOUR = ( #A87C72 )



Go to ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS & CONTRAST >>> BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST
Settings
Brightness = 13
Contrast = 27

DESELECT



With your MAGIC WAND
Select the area OUTSIDE the teardrops

Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 1
Flood fill with the "lace6" pattern

Go to ADJUST >>> HUE AND SATURATION >>> COLOURIZE
Settings:
HUE = 9
SATURATION = 130

Go to EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS >>> ENHANCE

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Use the following settings
COLOUR = ( #D5BA9D )



Click OK
(The colour may vary from the sample below
it should be lighter)




Go to ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS & CONTRAST >>> GAMMA CORRECTION



Click OK

DESELECT

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Drag Raster 3 under Group-Raster 2
CLOSE layer 1



Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
