Download and extract
to your PSP Patterns folder.
"lrsBaughanKalon-AfricanLion.jpg"
Extract to a folder
on your computer
Simple Filters
Download and extract
to your PSP Plugins Folder.

Open up your "lrsBaughanKalon-AfricanLion.jpg"
image in your PSP
workspace
Go to WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE
Close the original Image
Go to LAYERS >>> Promote to
Layer
Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Close Layer 1

Go to EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS
>>> SIMPLE >>> DIAMONDS
Go to EDIT >>> Repeat Diamonds
(4 times )

Double click on your SELECTION TOOL and
enter these settings.

Click OK
Go to EFFECTS >>> BLUR
>>> GAUSSIAN BLUR = 16.84

Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to EDIT CLEAR
DESELECT
Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Close "Copy of Layer 1"


Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Go to IMAGE >>> FLIP
Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Go to IMAGE >>> ROTATE

With your MOVER TOOL reposition the
rectangle as shown below
(You won't have
marching ants around the rectangle.. I
added them to make the positioning
clearer)
... 
Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Go to IMAGE >>> MIRROR
Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE
>>> MERGE VISIBLE

With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
Select the outer transparent area.
Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Open and highlight "Copy of Layer
1" to activate

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS
>>> INNER BEVEL
Use these settings

Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to EDIT CLEAR
DESELECT
Go to your LAYER PALETTE and click on the
MERGED LAYER to activate
With your MAGIC WAND
TOLERANCE = 75
Select the Gaussian blurred border
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS
>>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings
Click OK
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Select the outer area of the Border

Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY
>>> CONTRACT = 18
Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to EDIT CLEAR
DESELECT
Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Close "Copy of Layer 1" and the
"Merged" layer

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS
>>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings
Go to your LAYER PALETTE
OPEN the "Merged" layer
Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE
>>> MERGE VISIBLE

Go to your COLOUR PALETTE
Load the "jb-s063_gold" pattern
into your foreground
Use these settings.

With your MAGIC WAND
Select the outer area of the Border
Go to LAYERS >>> NEW
RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with with the gold pattern
Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY
>>> CONTRACT = 2
Go to EDIT CLEAR
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
TOLERANCE = 75
holding down your SHIFT KEY select BOTH
gold borders
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 75
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
DESELECT
Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Highlight the "Merged" layer
With your MAGIC WAND select the centre
transparent area
Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER
LAYER
Flood fill with with the gold pattern
Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY
>>> CONTRACT = 4
Go to EDIT CLEAR
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND select the inner
gold border
TOLERANCE = 100
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 75
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
DESELECT

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Open all layers EXCEPT Layer 1

Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE
>>> MERGE VISIBLE
With your MAGIC WAND select the centre
transparent area
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 6
Colour = Black
Opacity = 75
Blur = 11.1
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 6
Click OK
DESELECT
Go to your LAYER PALETTE
OPEN and Highlight Layer 1 to activate
Go to IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75%
Make sure "Resize all layers"
is UNchecked
Go to COLOURS >>> ADJUST
>>> BRIGHTNESS / CONTRAST

Go to EFFECTS >>> SHARPEN
>>> SHARPEN
Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE
>>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)
Save as a .jpg image and you're done.
