your background
Load "goldfill1' Pattern into your
foreground

Open a new image 400 x 400
Transparent background
LAYERS >>> NEW
RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with floral pattern
EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS
>>> ENHANCE
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY
>>> CONTRACT = 10
EDIT >>> CLEAR
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS
>>> INNER BEVEL
EFFECTS
>>> 3D Effects >>> Drop
Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow

Activate 'Copy of Raster 2' ( top layer)

Activate Raster 2

CLOSE Raster 1
LAYERS >>> MERGE

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9 Users Check "Contiguous"
Select the 4 triangular transparent
sections (Hold down shift key)
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY
>>> EXPAND = 3
LAYERS >>> NEW
RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>>
ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS
>>> ENHANCE
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS
>>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings
DESELECT
Activate MERGED layer
LAYERS >>> NEW
RASTER LAYER
Choose your SELECTION TOOL then
click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol
Flood fill with Gold pattern
EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow
effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY
>>> CONTRACT = 3
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Repeat Drop Shadow effects
DESELECT
Woth your MOVER TOOL slide the gold
section down as shown below.
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
IMAGE >>> FLIP
Close layers as shown below
 ... 
LAYERS >>> MERGE
>>> MERGE VISIBLE
EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS
>>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings
LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
IMAGE >>> ROTATE
>>> FREE ROTATE = Right 90
LAYERS >>> MERGE
>>> MERGE VISIBLE
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE
>>> MOVE DOWN
Open ALL layers EXCEPT Raster 1
LAYERS >>> MERGE
>>> MERGE VISIBLE
With your MAGIC WAND
Select the transparent centre of your
image
OPEN and activate Raster 1
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY
>>> EXPAND = 2
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
DESELECT
LAYERS
>>> MERGE >>> MERGE
VISIBLE
SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY
>>> CONTRACT = 3
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EDIT >>> CLEAR
