Go to SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 34
Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Go to EDIT CLEAR

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
CLOSE the Background layer

Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Make sure PURPLE is your BACKground colour


Go to EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> FUNHOUSE >>> EMISSION MIRROR
WAVELENGTH = 255

(Actual size)



DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED

and also holding down your SHIFT KEY
Select the purple corners

Go to EDIT CLEAR

DESELECT



With your MAGIC WAND
and also holding down your SHIFT KEY
Select the BLACK sections...

Flood fill with PURPLE

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Use the
SAIL 2 preset that you saved.
Click OK

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT




Go to your LAYER PALETTE
OPEN the Background layer
Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)

Go to ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN







BORDER 8


Go to IMAGE >>> ADD BORDERS = 5
COLOUR = CARAMEL

With your MAGIC WAND

Select the CARAMEL border

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Use the
SAIL 1 preset that you saved.
Click OK

DESELECT





BORDER 9


Go to IMAGE >>> ADD BORDERS = 12
COLOUR = PURPLE

With your MAGIC WAND

Select the PURPLE border

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

DESELECT


BORDER 10


Go to IMAGE >>> ADD BORDERS = 3
COLOUR = CARAMEL

With your MAGIC WAND

Select the CARAMEL border

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Use the
SAIL 1 preset that you saved.
Click OK

DESELECT

Go to IMAGE >>> ADD BORDERS = 3
COLOUR = PURPLE

With your MAGIC WAND
Select the PURPLE border

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Use the
SAIL 1 preset that you saved.
Click OK

DESELECT

Go to IMAGE >>> ADD BORDERS = 3
COLOUR = CARAMEL

With your MAGIC WAND

Select the CARAMEL border

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Use the
SAIL 1 preset that you saved.
Click OK

DESELECT


BORDER 13


Go to IMAGE >>> ADD BORDERS = 3
COLOUR = PURPLE

With your MAGIC WAND
Select the PURPLE border

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Use the
SAIL 1 preset that you saved.
Click OK

DESELECT

That's it for the borders!!!!

Go to IMAGE >>> RESIZE



Click OK

Go to ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

Go to LAYERS >>> Promote Baclground Layer

With your MAGIC WAND
Tolerance = 0

Select the WHITE CENTRE of your image

Go to EDIT CLEAR

This is the time to save your frame as a .psp (tube)
for future use with other images *S*

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Go to WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE
Close the original Frame Image

Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Go to LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> SEND TO BOTTOM

Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 5


Maximise the image of the yacht

Right click on the Title Bar
and select COPY from the options

Go to your frame image
Right click on the Title Bar
and select PASTE INTO SELECTION from the options.

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Change the BLEND MODE on Raster 2 to LUMINANCE (legacy)
Nothing will appear to happen just yet.


Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill the centre of your image with PURPLE

Go to LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
NOW you'll notice a difference! *S*

DESELECT




Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on Raster 1 to activate

With your MAGIC WAND
Click in the centre of your image

Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Go to EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW



Click OK
DESELECT


Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)

I added a couple of 'anchors' for effect
(You'll find them in the 'A-nautical.tub' provided)
Resize to suit.
Save your image as a .jpg file.
